MAQLAN is Macquarie University's first lan party. BYO PC, and sign up for lots of tournaments! There's over $1000 in prizes and entry to the event is free!

The biggest tournaments involved in this event will be

• Starcraft II
• Team Fortress 2
• Call of Duty :Modern Warfare 3

• 1PM - QWOP Challenge (Runs until 4:30PM on Saturday)
• 2PM - Counter Strike Source
• 5PM - Warcraft 3

• Dusk - Nerf Gun fight
• 8PM - Defence of the Ancients
• 10PM - !!Team Fortress 2!!

Saturday:
• 1AM - Battlefield 2
• 1AM - EvE
• 3AM - World of Warcraft PvP
• 5AM - Quake 3
• 10AM - !!Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3!!
• 5PM - MaqLAN Closes

I'm interested in coming by as I only work a few hundred metres down the road... sadly this also makes it difficult to bring a computer, as I'm not going to be taking it on the bus to work. :/

Prizes have not been announced yet in terms of what gets distributed where. I'm running SC2, but unfortunately I'm not in control of the prizes, the president of our society is. I'll update the thread if I hear anything.

Format will be double elim brackets.
