Nope, don't see any vast improvements. Have been stuck in top diamond for 5 seasons, and nothing. Slight change in PvP and PvT. Yet to be promoted.
I've seen my PvT matchup confidence deteriorate over the time. I know the matchup, and can pull steady 50% winrate with "standard". But proxy stargate is just too much fun. Too bad it can't deal with terran 1-base timings and cloak. Did I mention 1-base timings? They dominate EU diamond ladder atm. Games are full of sharp turns, and are too apm intensive for my liking. For S6, I want to focus on my multitask. For this, I will play 2-3 base games. I'm 100% solid in my macro, just need to be more aware on positioning and map control. It's not like PvZ, terran can move 5 different ways, and you won't know it.
I hate current state of PvP. My favorite build is phoenixes, but it is too niche to consistently win with it, no matter the execution. Hard to improve when you don't enjoy the game, isn't it? Yet I have, I now use variety of openings, ranging from various blink and 3-gates to freaky proxies. I think I'm slowly learning to have fun in this matchup. Hoping to see more "WTF??" wins in S6.
I've only had great success with my awesome wtfrolling air PvZ, with sometimes sporting 100% winrate over 20+ games. I feel so boss when I a-move 'em zergs with carriers. I'm really surprised how unaware players on ladder are of my build, maybe it is too unorthodox. I'm happy how I control it, how it doesn't have any hard counters, and there are no significant weak spots beyond early game machine-like executed timings from aggressive zerg. PvZ has taught me solid macro, which I'm happy to project over on other games. And what I love the most - it allows me to use my favorite protoss units w/o a feeling of going against the flow. I will continue stomping zergies in S6, and pray to the Void carriers, mothership and voidrays don't get nerfed and make it through to HOTS.

If you want to improve, play with the aim of improving, not for fun. This doesn't mean you can't have fun, it just changes to coming from doing well and being promoted.
If you do phoenix's well in PvP, you'll only be at a BO disadvantage to FE builds. FE builds are just roulette anyway - it's a case of you hiding your tech build, while faking aggression.

LOL I do a Mass carrier with phoenix and voidray support build in pvz, and yeah agree its an amazing feeling revealing ur carriers and the zerg not knowing what to do about it

Fast blink is default counter. TC Robo is hard-ish counter. Heck, even 4g can give trouble. DT's can be insta-loss. Too much weakness.

This is mostly wrong. Phoenix-robo play beats fast blink, tc robo does badly against any sort of phoenix build. 4gate is a non issue because you have to take that into account whatever build you do. DTs only win against phoenix when theres no detection.
Phoenix is basically one of the strongest openers you can do and if you do it right then it can't straight up lose to anything.

Fast blink doesn't lose to phoenix robo builds if you play smart and take little damage you can come out ahead. As soon as you spot phoenix you want to build no more than 6~ stalkers and instantly build a templar archives whilst building mass zealot immortal, scout with an obs for if he expanded and if he did push him with one archon mass zealot immortal and 6 stalkers, if he doesn't then expand yourself you can hold immortal phoenix zealot timings with 1 archon, but you can get 2 just to be safe..
Just my 2cents, I've played fast blink in 90% of my PvPs and I usually beat players who go phoenix (1200 points masters NA)
