Whilst there are a few weeks left in the event, it is the last 2 games for our SEA teams Xeria Gaming and Infi, and the games are very important

Xeria Gaming vs StorM - Tues 10pm

Xeria are currently 16 points ahead of StorM, but StorM has a game to play vs Japan in the final week, meaning Xeria needs to win this match to all but secure 1st place in the group. Why does this matter? Something I learned today is Group A 1st plays vs Group B 2nd, and the loser of this game could very well hit Korean powerhouse Alive in the semis!

In short, If Xeria win by a margain of 11-8 or greater, Xeria will win group A. If the margain is less, the outcome of the group will depend on StorM vs Japan. Keep in mind last time StorM defeated Xeria quite convincingly, can Xeria get their revenge?

Infi vs NewBlitz - Thursday 10pm

Infi is currently 7 points behind NewBlitz, and is the last game in the group. Quite simply Infi need to defeat NewBlitz by a score of 13-6 or greater to secure 2nd in the group, anything less will mean NewBlitz secure 2nd in the group.Infi won last time 15-4, so it is achievable, however according to TCL admin Ken, NewBlitz did not run their strongest lineup last time. Should be an interesting night!
