If the girls aren't from a movie/anime/cartoon, then yes probably. Not saying that you should, though.
Anyway regarding the SOPA, I saw a video on Youtube that SOPA already passed, is that true, or is it actually going to be passed a few weeks later?
Now to stop PIPA (a worse Act which is trying to be pushed through the other half of the US government, the Senate - basically instead of just shutting down websites for pirated materials, it allows corporations and governments to sue for damages as well!!! Imagine if I posed a link to a copyrighted material on this forum, the materials owner could not only shut down SC2Sea but also Sue it for facilitating the link to the copyrighted material...)
*and then PIPA gets passed through since everyone is talking about SOPA being shelved*
Exactly this. SOPA being shelved is a perfect cover for getting PIPA through. Everyone needs to realize that PIPA is just as bad as SOPA and should never be able to pass.
godaddy did not officially withdraw their support from sopa via congress and it was a PR stunt to try and stop the rot. they were quickly found out and the run on godaddy continued. i suggest moving to namecheap still nirvana.
Dox Obama was forced to take a stance due to 2 petitions reaching 50 thousand people were handed in. they werent really drawing a line in the sand at all.
if you read the release its pretty vague itself and just rehashes many things both sides have been championing. Most IP journalists with any gravitas have been skeptical as to it being a killing blow on SOPA. One thing is for sure though Lamar Smith the author of SOPA has come out and said DNS blocking has been shelved untill further notice.
I knew and heard a little bit about SOPA but haven't heard about this PIPA thing >.<
I miss the simple days when PIPA was associated with a woman owning a caravan park in Summer Bay.
In the article that was posted above I did like what Californian congressman, Issa said regarding SOPA being stopped.
“The voice of the Internet community has been heard,” said Issa. “Much more education for members of Congress about the workings of the Internet is essential if anti-piracy legislation is to be workable and achieve broad appeal.”
I have a feeling that PIPA/SOPA isn't as bad as the internet makes it, but I think in order to stop legislation like this there needs to be overreaction due to whats at risk if something like this starts to pass. I'm just hoping R.Paul wins the election as he would almost immediately try and crush legislation like this. While Obama only sided against it to look good in the coming campaign. If Obama wins again (lol) he'll implement a similar legislation to SOPA/PIPA now that he's free of saving face in a campaign run.
(Oh and I'm not an Obama hater, I would of voted for him if I could of. But he surrounded himself with the scum of the earth and it's caused his presidency to be a failure imo.)
