Hi. I'm the manager of SC2 Mongolian team. deL recommended me this nice portal. I would like to know if it is possible for us to enter the SEA Nation League in near future? Sadly, our players don't have SEA SC2 accounts. Similar to Japan, we play on NA server, without any lag issues. If needed, you can reach me under the following address: utd2k2@yahoo.com. Thanks and have a nice day.
Yeah just to explain this a bit, I thought we could spice up NW Season 2 with the addition of some other Asian or Eurasian nations who play on the NA server - seeing we all have access to NA and they don't really have their own native server it would be good for the competition.
As long as they are active and show up I see no reason to include Mongolia, Japan and maybe other Asian nations who play on NA!
The SEA league was originally just for the players on the SEA countries so we dont have to deal with
1) Lag issue
2) Time zone issue (i.e new zealand - singapore time difference is already 5 hours, NZ-mongolia might be even bigger)
3) Small and managable
If we do it on a bigger scale, its gonna involve more countries, take longer, and there might be problems with lag / time zones. These were the reasons why they werent included before. But of course if theres overwhelming support to include the other countries in Asia like Taiwan, Japan, Mongolia, etc im all for it.
Thanks for all the replies. Time zone shouldn't be a big issue I hope, as Mongolia is on exact same zone with China / Singapore etc. Time difference to NZ is currently 5 hours and it will be 4 hours once the spring hits. But I understand very good that there might be lag issues for some countries on NA server. Thanks again.
