Pretty sure it's a T3 upgrade, and no-one knows how fast they'll actually move while burrowed.

Dont know if anyone else saw anything about this but damn glad im not playing WoW anymore.

Your companion pets (Grunty, Wind Rider Cub, etc) are essentially Pokemon. There are wild ones you can capture, they level up, and get new skills, and the battle "a la Pokemon"

This is probably the stupidest thing Blizzard have ever done. I honestly think their WoW developers just sit around all day smoking weed laughing at all the sad sad WoW nerds....who want pokemon...

I reckon everything in the new expansion for WoW looks fun

. If you don't like it you don't have to do it.. Can't wait to start playing again, and can't wait for the new expac.

Da fuq...

I don't mind the whole Pandaren thing, that's cool with me (means another tank class to level to 85

) but other than that, everything else seems so... Childish. I dunno, just the whole expac in general feels very vibrant and over-the-top.
Not explaining too well, but I think people get what I mean.

Wasn't WoW always vibrant and over-the-top?

Or is this just because I've only ever played Alliance starting area... wait... I may have done an Undead Mage at some point... hmm...
Still even the Undead Mage starting area is what I would call vibrant and over-the-top.

My point is that at least there's corruption from old gods, races being wiped out, people like bolvar being 'killed off' and made to suffer for eternity, etc.

All I see so far in Mists of Pandaria are Orient gardens.

Do we know how many more expansions for WoW. Having not played past lvl 11 it seems to me that this expansion screams of final send off for WoW. I don't think that is exactly logical, but it just feels like it to me.

I predict (this probably won't happen) that Mists of Panderea will finish with a new status quo, setting the scene ready for either Warcraft 4 or World of Warcraft 2.

I believe someone released a leaked copy of a projection plan from a board meeting for blizzard/activision a few months ago and that there is one more planned WoW expansion after this pandaren one before it phases out and they start hyping up their new MMO. Wish I had the URL on me for verification, just going off memory here.

Hmmm, I seem to remember the same thing, but I'm not sure if Cata was the first of these two or not.

WoW will continue to run for as long as blizzard can make money off the time and effort they put into the game to keep it running.

as soon as they make a loss and dont see themselves recovering from it, it will be shut down.

I wonder if WoW will be able to survive as long as Everquest has? Everquest 2 is now as old as WoW and Everquest 1 is up to its 18th expansion as of November this year. o_O

I was pretty impressed by the new units, definitely a lot looks unbalanced but obviously they'll fix that over time. This WoW expansion will be the only one I won't buy. At the RIFT office they had a massive party after watching Blizzcon methinks
