Tournament Eligibility: You must be in the Gold, Platinum or Diamond league (1v1 - SEA license). If you were previously in Masters at the conclusion of season 1/2, you are ineligible.

Prizes: The winner of the GPD Open will take home the $10 first prize
The top 8 players from this event shall qualify for the Masters Cup on 23/10/11 and the chance to win the min $75 1st prize, $20 2nd, and $10 3rd for that event. Wildcard qualifying spots may also be given for impressive play outside of the top 8.

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:

Ro64: Tal'Darim Altar LE (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro32: Nerazim Crypt (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro16: Typhon Peaks(B01 no 2nd game)
Ro8: Shakuras Plateau (B03)
Semi-Finals: GSL Terminus SE (B03)
Finals: GSTL GSL Dual Sight (B05)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:

Xel'Naga Caverns, Metalopolis, Shakuras Plateau, Typhon Peaks, The Shattered Temple, Tal'Darim Altar LE, Nerazim Crypt, Abyssal Caverns, Antiga Shipyard

For B03 and B05 each player can have 1 veto

Last week I came up against Dohwee in the Ro32 and he went on to win. This week I come up against Dohwee in the Ro8 and he goes on to win. So annoyed :/

Bad luck man.
That Dohwee guy is a little suss anyway. His sc2sea profile does not have his character code and it says Grandmaster as his league.
I had a look at his profile during the tournament and he does not play on that account. He has basically no games besides the tournaments in the last couple of months.

Maybe I am just being to suspicious and he is at the skill level without actually playing very much. Who knows really.

Like me, he may play on the NA server. I assume admins have checked to see if the acount he does play activley on is not masters because I highly doubt he could win the GPD twice in a row if he wasn't active.

You are probably right, I should not jump to conclusions.
I guess the mistakes in his profile section just made me a little suspicious, so I checked out his profile when I had the chance.
