Just a show of hands is there anyone else here who plays stepmania?
For those who have never heard of it, Stepmania is an open source rhythm game. So the songs you play on it you gotta download yourself and those songs are 'stepped' by everyday people like me. So difficulty and quality of files are ranged quite far out. Feel free to ask me for links if you wanna try it out =)
i play stepmania online like... 4 years ago? :< i stopped because it was increasingly harder to find the songs people played. and the correct version of it.
Yeah i played like 5 years ago, i also played ddr when i was like 14... Max300 on heavy showing those asian kids whats up at galactic circus melbourne.
Lol when I was 14(10 years ago) I was in RTF (Ranking Task Force) which was basically the Australian National team for DDR. Was getting AAA on So Deep and AA on Max Unlimited. Needless to say it was easier done on Stepmania =]
Bragging Deep.

My japanese friend introduced me to something similar Dancing Onigiri a few years ago, I've only just rediscovered it and have been my arse handed to me. Osu is another good rhythm game (although it uses the mouse) and I've been playing this one a lot recently.

Osu! is a good game, played it some some time ago. But I've always preferred those keyboard rhythm games like 02Jam(and Stepmania)

Well I could direct to you a link to a list of major packs(there's a lot of them but they kindly made a short list on top of that list of popular packs played on SMO) if you're still interested =)
