What's your SC2 community like? Is it just about clans and chatrooms, or do you still get together with a group of your friends and your PCs every now and again?
I was fortunate enough to be invited to Jump's GSTL #5 tourney in Bangkok and I had a blast. It's nice to know that an amature player can sit down at a foreign PC cafe and feel completely welcome to play a game of SC with Grandmaster players. Thanks Team Thailand and Gview. Keep SC2 going strong in Thailand.
I am fortuante enough to live same city as FXOFrequency, which is pretty aweosme, 'cause he's organising lans fairly often, like 1 a month. So that's when i get out, LAN with people and just have an aweosme time
In my town , the community is not that active , and there also not so many players playing sc2 , most of the internet-cafe here don't provide game like starcraft 2..
I have a couple of friends who are crap (like me) and then some who are pretty good. I occasionally lan with the friends who aren't that good, but play online a lot with the friends who are good at the game.
Getting the PR out on local tournaments seems to be a problem for many small SC2 communities. If you knew about a lan tournament that was coming up, would you attend? Does a prize matter?
Jump is doing a survey on this very subject on a different thread. Be sure to vote
