well my realistic goal is to get my MMR to masters level so that when S4 comes i go up a rank even though i lose my placement
So far I got moved up to plat in S2 and Diamond S3 lets keep the trend
Season 3 goals:
1) Learn to tap properly
2) Marco better
3) Play more aggressively
4) Get to masters.
I think these are realistic goals for me. I would be so pumped to get to masters.
Placing Diamond this season was an awesome feeling. I finished season1 in bronze. Placed silver season 2, worked my way up to plat and then placed diamond season 3.
Funny, because so did I. I managed to buy sc2 2 days before season 2 started, and after not playing sc2 for a year since beta, I placed in bronze, and next day technically finished s1 in bronze Took me only 2 weeks or so to get to diamond where I belong, but still was funny.
1/. Learn to comfortably play 3+ base macro.
2/. Improve my multi-tasking and battle techniques (i.e. continuing to reinforce, build structures, etc., while engaging).
3/. Hopefully get into the diamond level.
Relearn Zerg and go from Platinum --> Masters. It can be done! I was pretty close to going from Diamond --> Masters before I got sick, and started losing almost every game because of it =(

I moved from Gold to Platinum after my placement match, so this season I'm going to set my sights on Diamond. I think I can do it, just need to conquer my orange button anxiety and play more games.
Nice thread-title change Nirv, definitely great for discussion!
As for my S3 goals, a few of them (just briefly, I'll be going more in-depth in a weekly-blog):
Become confident in my own play, thus eliminating the "anxiety" attached to 1v1.
Play & maintain a minimum of 5-10 games per day (when I'm under the pump with RL commitments) and 15-25 on the days where I'm commitment-free.
As a result of point one; improve with each game and climb to high-diamond by the end of S3.
Begin looking at potential clan options & begin flying interstate representing the aforementioned clan in tournaments!
Participate in a tonne of the SC2SEA tournaments!
Continue moderating/loving SC2SEA
That's about it for this season, anything more than the above would be exceptional but I don't want to set unrealistic goals. Hope you all achieve what you set out for yourselves!
Hopefully hit High plat or diamond by the end of the season.
Get used to the layout of my new keyboard...its so... WEIRD.
Join a "clan" or something so i have more practise buddies ^_^
Start casting some stuff with my mate, that said, we're only gold/silver at the moment, but we could cast low level play yeah?

I want to improve enough to get to high diamond and beat a few masters players. Maybe get into masters if the season is long enough!
Learn ZvZ
Use hotkeys for EVERYTHING
And stop making stupid mistakes which make me lose games when Im "ahead"
i.e. dont run my ALL of my infestors into a siege tank line
and remember to put queens on hold position on ramp in ZvZ,

1-Get many wins as each race option as i have 'accidentally' gotten demoted and commenced my portrait farmi *COUGH* I mean transition to Random.
2-Get pikk0n to be my tutor in cheesing and all-ining
3-Beat Zergtastic/SatuSPR for the second time!
'nuff said for this season

I don't blame you for being you, but you can't blame me for hating it
Well started out in bronze in december, and managed to get into Diamond before end of S1, stayed in diamond in S2, being 5th in SEA before the ladder reset.
That said, my aims are probably to remain in Masters and push for top 50 Masters in SEA and get my NA account to Masters as well? That said, it will probably be a miracle cos the workload in Med School has been pushed up a notch, so my 2nd aim will be to maintain my skill level while improving my studies haha =) Oh and train more of Time of Rising to gold, platinum and diamond!! =D

Drop hacks, gotta watch out for dem Drop hacks.
For me I won't have any performance objectives. RL gives me enough for my taste.
So what I aim:
Have fun when playing and only fun. Getting better is fun too but that must be secondary. If I don't do that i will simply stop playing and I don't want.
Give quality contribution to SC2 SEA ;
Make 1 or 2 SC2 SEA online tournaments (and any SEA LAN organized in Paris ) ;
Be a participative fan for the streamers I will follow.
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
