* Roz forfeited game 2 as he had to leave, a sub couldn't be made because he already played one game and didn't provide a replacement anyway - unless jump reverses this and they can postpone the match to another day!
Malaysia qualifies for the final spot in the Neolution NationWar League!

He had to go play in the finals of a LAN tourney that like all the HK players were at which was scheduled at the same time of the nation league qualifiers T_T!
Sorry bout it, most of us were at the tournament and it ran a lot longer than we expected. The tournament ended up being pretty rushed at the end so having to play nation wars at the same time, the admins didn't really like it. They gave me 20 minutes to play it and i tried to rush the games, which didn't really end up being a very good idea. So after game 1 i just decided to forfeit it because if i wanted a chance to win then the games would be a lot longer and that would mean i had to forfeit the lan tournament. I did ask if i could have a replacement beforehand but since everyone waited so long, it appears that they didn't want that and also the fact that jump wasn't around, they said they couldn't make that decision.
Anyways, sorry bout the whole delay and how everything went. Good luck in Nation Wars Malaysia!
First, I'm so sry that i did't around when u come to SEA but ur player said u will end in 20minute so I told to everyone I give u 30 minute and malaysia ok with it to waiting but i don't know what next happend between u and malaysia I knew everything when it's done u lose first game to fooddealer and then you forfeited. I just don't want anyone to waiting for long time but I'm so sry to rushing you
and last,so sry for today really sorry I have to go dinner with family so I can't be there
Why not let both teams, Hong Kong and Malaysia join the NW league?
If the point of the league is to promote SEA SC2 and get more people playing then the more nations playing the better, right? We proved that, even when there is conflicting events, that we can put together a lineup and play.
The league will be round robin style anyways, right? So adding in another team wouldn't change anything in the schedule except add an extra week on.
I mean, a Nation League is supposed to be where players can represent their country and we showed that we have players who want to do that. I don't see why we wouldn't be let in ( or at least reschedule the last game ). Nation League's give players incentive to play and practice and promote SC2 within their own country. Take last night for example, the tournament that Roz was playing in was not only giving a cash prize and hardware, but also sponsorship for HK player to play over seas and in other tournaments. Obviously HK has events and something there worth promoting and isn't that what the league is supposed to be about?
Even the other teams, Indonesia and Vietnam. I remember many many VN players from BW. I was good friends with many VN players. There is a huge player base in VN that needs promoting and a Nation League is something that can help with that. When you give people something they can follow and cheer for like their own country, even if you lose, it's still something that gets people playing and practicing and wanting to show good games and represent their country well.
I just don't understand why there were 4 teams put in a qualification tournament in SC2, no one has proved anything in SC2 so why would 4 nations be excluded from the league? I can understand if there would be worries about whether or not they could get a lineup but we proved we can. For HK and MY proved they can get a lineup in back to back wars.
MensA the sponsors had an idea of how long they wanted the league to run, and of course the admins are doing this on volunteer time and can't just take 2 months off from their lives.
The qualifying nations were the lowest seeds/performers from the first season of the nation wars so they had previous results to go by.

NOOO HK T_T.....It really sucks that that happened. Congrats to Malaysia though, shame I wasn't able to watch it.
Hey Roz can you message me on where you guys LAN. The current place my friends and I go to is cheap before the atmosphere is pretty shitty, i.e. smokers everywhere T_T.
