it has to be well deserved. if i screw up and at an unfair disadvantage, i usually don't cause he is not worthy.
some are just pure bm even when they gg they dont leave the game.

I tended to rage after losing to cheese, all-ins, Protoss etc. but the past week I have been consistent with my GGs. When I go into a ladder match with the mindset that I will GG regardless of what my opponent does, I take SC2 for what it is - a game - and I don't take it more seriously than I should (appropriate for a Platinum player).
I don't gg. I don't see the point in it unless you are a professional. Having ppl/fans think you're bm isn't good so i understand that.
However i don't really see it as BM?..i mean you left the game because you lost, isn't that gratification enough? I just leave the game because I have lost, don't really care if it was a good game or not. Maybe im just an asshole because i don't glhf or anything either because i sincerely don't wish my opponent to have good luck or have fun : /.
This... I gg if I'm not too busy hating on myself for losing in a stupid way. Considering that I suck I tend to rage (inwardly... I may not gg, but I also don't BM opponents) about how stupid my losses are all the time.
I gg 9/10 times. I only don't gg if its some bland all in which requires no skill whatsoever (e/g a 6 pool or scv all in) or if I'm being consistantly 1 base all ined by terrans in which i get super frustrated by =/.

I must admit I'm a bit of a rager, but I really try to gg as often as possible. I see it as being akin to shaking your opponent's hand after a game of something irl, and ragequitting more like storming off in a huff. I try to be a good sport.
Usually when I don't gg it is because I've stuffed up my build order or made some other rudimentary mistake that has cost me the game and I'm just really mad at myself. I'm trying to learn to deal with that more calmly though!
The only time I won't say 'gg' is with BM players. If my opponent wins with a cheese, even if I'm annoyed at not stopping it, I'll still gg because it's legitimate play, assuming they don't BM while they're doing it.
always, if they bm me heaps i just type one g and laugh at them after. i dont bm cos it makes yourself look like an asshole who cant take a loss, if they bm to u then laugh at them even if you lose, cos the they must either have no friends to complain to or have really bad self esteem so he has to make sure he is noticed when he wins.
Depends on my emotional state, and if my brain thinks there's an "injustice" because the other player played really bad but won because their cheese succeeds in the face of a droning, build order or scouting blunder from myself. Probs gg about 70% of the time, up from about 2%. But never gg ladder, too lazy.
well, I always gg, I feel bad if I don't. it's not about if it was a good game or not, I just feel it's polite. generally, I don't think i'm bm, but if someone gg's just as they are about to win, and I haven't gg'ed yet, well, sometimes I wish I was a Terran so I could float my buildings everywhere.
I always gg because I like to think that I'd be on the other end of that gg.
Unless you know I pause and go and answer the phone and come back to see 1 marine and all his scv's killing my base....
