Seems odd to get so many from an offline tourney, only a minority of players would be able to make it and an online tournament actually better represents the conditions of the final tournament.

im guessing its because the offline tourney has some nice prizes so it will be a a good compeitive judge (like the sydney WCG lan) and the 6 slots are probably to accommodate the already invited players who will take up the first places for sure.
