Can't find any other appropriate forum to post this in because its totally not related to Starcraft, apart from the fact that playing Starcraft while on high is damn epic.

So my dream is to one day own a Jazz bar and I'm living my dream now by learning how to mix drinks first. Kids, this forum thread is not for you. Go drink orange juice. But when you hit 18, you'll soon learn that a "Screwdriver" is more fun than just glorified Orange Juice. Cheers.

1/2 a lime, quartered, 2 heaped teaspoonfuls of sugar
4-5 shots of vodka, I'm using Grey Goose here 'cos its just much better

Presenting, the Caipiroska. I've just bought Cachaca, so I'll be making Caipirinhas soon.

State of the bar, at the start of the last house party I was at! Man it was awesome.

Kahlua, Baileys and Cointreau. Layered. (had to use triple sec cos there wasn't Cointreau available)

The B52 bombing run!

Butterscotch and Baileys aka Slipperly Nipple, unfortunately wasn't very well done. We had Alien Nipples too, which were formed by the addition of Midori to the Slippery Nipple.

This nasty bad boy here is a "Squashed Frog". Bloody Saccharine Overload. Bad. Oh Baileys and Midori.

Unfortunately, we had a whole bunch of drinks that day that were drunk before we could even take photos of them, like the Cosmos, Mango Margaritas and Orgasms. Man we had multiple orgasms, and heavenly orgasms to boot. Life is good.

Sex On The Beach - 4 parts Vodka, 2 parts Peach Schnapps, 4 parts Orange Juice, 4 parts Cranberry Juice

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, shake and serve on ice.

Sex On The Beach - isn't as cool as it sounds, because the sand just gets everywhere

The Midday Mango Margarita. Simple pleasures in life.

Cosmopolitan - The Sex and the City drink.
Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte's favourite.
Cranberry, Vodka Citron, Triple Sec and lime juice.

I used to run a bar so I can tell you that opening a bar is hard hard work and you need a lot of capital.
In any case, good luck. I love mixing drinks too. I learned a bit of flair bartendering from my bartenders. (y)

1 thing i have learnt while in Cambodia is that mojito's are AWESOME!!!

. Bought white rum at the airport and im gonna mix a few once in a while during the Christmas season

put 5 sprigs of fresh mint in a mixing glass, add either a splash of sugar cane juice (if available), or 2 teaspoons of brown/unrefined sugar (if you don't have, the white kindof sugar can be a substitute, or just use simple syrup), cut a large lime up into 8 slices, (use can use either half or all of it, personally i'll use the whole damn lime) muddle it all together until the sugar dissolves, you really gotta muddle it up till the natural oils in the lime skin break up.

put everything in a collins glass, top with ice, add 3-5 shots of rum, depending on how strong you want it, the top it off with club soda, garnish with a sprig of mint and straw

some people strain everything out of the drink and just leave the liquid in the collins glass, personally, i'll leave the mint and the lime in.
