Want to start an open discussion on current meta, balance and discuss SC2 moving forward in terms of balance and the competitive scene.

I'm feeling there is some strength in Terran at the moment, especially verse Zerg. I think it has to do with effective AoE verse terran bio. Everything else seem to be pretty good..

The state of eSports is certainly not growing for SC2. But there is still a loyal fanbase of Starcraft enthusiasts and there always will be. Until there is a better RTS game I don't think it will change either. Would love to see more live events in Australia but I fear our ESports organisers have forsaken us for greener pastures and we now need to look elsewhere in the future.

I can't really understand why they added KD8 Charge to Reapers, it doesn't see much play outside of making 3rax stronger as far as I can tell.

Remember when people were theory-crafting stuff like "bounce the hellions over the enemy supply depot and pwn the mineral line?" So far it's only led to me getting Pox'd multiple times, I haven't really seen it used elsewhere unfortunately.

Keeping the initial reaper alive and using KD8 to displace queens from wall/ramp for Hellion runby is a cool little addition, though can be a pain for Zerg when it does happen

I still don't understand the rationale behind the +4 armor on Chitinous plating..

Feel like it should be returned to +2 again, but ultras should have +1 on their base armor compared to what they have now?

Some things are growing, some aren't.

I think it was the Bacon Infinity guys who tweeted something like, "Those who say sc2 is a dead game, obviously haven't tried to find a free timeslot to run a tournament" - Something to that effect. Very true!

There's so much SC2 is happening it's quite amazing really
