As for satisfying to complete, the last mission in the main story when I finally did it after failing way more than I'd like to admit was a literal fistpump moment.

The way I did it was by making a heap f turrets and tanks at the natural and sing a bio force to help defend the P/Z. When it got the the all-in waves I just mass bunker/turret and pull everything around Kerrigan and finished it pretty easy.

I think the hardest mission for me was the final mission, but then siar/DT. EZ game EZ life.

Banshees are pretty damn strong on the second epilogue mission - with the right usage of cloak and a few vikings mixed in you can deal with most of the pushes, and you have plenty of mobility - you can often pick off pushes before they've even started. Just need the occasional Kerricannon to deal with thors/archons/BCs/carriers. I didn't even max out - just got up to 130 supply or so and then spent all my money building layers of PFs, which end up delaying pretty handily.

My favourite mission was when I tried out dark archons for the first time and ended up with a dozen stolen carriers. Don't remember anything else. Karax's carrier mission was pretty fun, too.

Campaign was fun, a couple of missions were satisfyingly difficult. As in I really had to think my strategy through to conquer them. Loved the variety of units and differing factions of the Protoss. Even though I never played the original Starcraft or Brood-War I found the ending twist enjoyable.

The way I did the 2nd epilogue mission was make mass tank some Vikings and planetaries. Defend the Zerg and Protoss until the 3 lashers spawn and run back to Kerrigan and siege up around her with planetary walls. It defiantly was the most frustrating mission for me as it took like 5 tries T_T.

My favourite was the last mission of regular campaign though. My strategy for it was mass dragoon, sentries that increase range and damage taken on enemy units and arbiters. Use stasis as much as possible and snipe the overseers they send and its actually quite easy with it.
