Introducing the Ascended Starcraft League!!!

The Ascended Starcraft League (or more commonly known as ASL) is an eSports organization dedicated to providing amateur to professional gamers epic tournaments and events using high quality production and graphics. They host 4 starcraft 2 leagues, Prime ($5000USD for Pro player), Challenger ($500USD for Semi Pro's/Masters/GM's), Vanguard ($180 for Diamond and low Masters), and Defender ($120 for Casual BSGP leauges). Starting with this coming season (5), the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series will be giving out points for Prime and Challenger!

This partnership will allow more players from all around the world to gain access to OSC points and our rankings, as well as sharing networking and promotion of events to give more opportunities to starcraft players and fans. 2 OSC regulars, Spear and EnDerr finished 1st and 2nd respectively in last seasons challenger league. Let's get more players involved (or even qualify for Prime) this season. We encourage everyone to play in a league that suits their level. These are very well run and fun events. GLHF!

We are very excited to partner with OSC and be able to reward players with OSC points, if anything it will make our tournaments even more competitive. Season 5 is going to be our best season yet, our leagues have never been this stacked before. We have the best of the best for every league competing for cash and ultimate bragging rights, and we expect to have some the most exciting games of the year, right here in the ASL!

1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points

Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series



The Ascended Starcraft League is a partnered tournament of the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC). The OSC is the Oceanic, South East Asian, North American and Chinese regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments.

The top 32 players ranked via the OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the 2 day minimum $5000+ Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion! OSC World Rankings were established in December 2012.

In 2014 OSC partnered tournaments gave away $29691 combined prizepool, ($ bounties, Terran Bonus initiative, Invitationals, and LAN events were not included in this!), we had 155 completed partnered tournaments (up from 77 last year, which equates to 100% growth), and saw 358 individual players with points earned (up from 138 in 2013 = 159% growth)

Being part of ASL is really amazing, you get to play not so pro players in every region. As long as your latency on NA is good, You're good to go. Bad for me cause sometimes my net fucks up and get random spikes/lag in the middle of the games.

I am very exited for this because of my casting for both OSC and ASL! This will be really awesome and a good way to get player to cross pollinate between tournaments! I honestly love both ASL's GSL Method and OSC's more standard WCS like method.

Season 5 Challenger groups have been released!

SEA Players participating this season: Alopex, Soundwave, PSiArc, Blysk, DemiLove, EnDerr.

Soundwave got a brutal group, but i think everyone can make it through to the next stage.
