Announced via the twits this morning but letting you guys know as well that I've pulled out of casting this event due to health reasons. Woke up with a throat infection so bad I can't talk or swallow.

There's a huge opportunity here for up and coming casters to really show what they're made of, as there's no doubt going to be a huge amount of talent and great games!

Shall be tuning in from home and missing you all

I missed my flight home last night so I got in late, which meant that I couldn't get up and get to the venue (unfortunately I was already suffering lack of sleep all week)

This has been an epic event, and it was grand watching the stream at home on a Saturday.
Awesome games, and good casting =D

I Would like to personally thank baldie for running an amazing Tourney all weekend and allowing me an up and comming caster the chance to cast on the Big Stage of SEA , and do it live from ACL Bris. It has been the greatest Esports related experience of my life and am very greatful for the opportunity. A Huge shout out to the players and congrats to X5 PiG for 3rd place and $250 , #CUTforHuT coming in at a solid Second . Earning himself $500 and being the only person to take a map of our champion. X5 KingKong, This man is a god and earned himself $1000. its a shame i didn't get the chance to interview the guy after winning but oh well just seeing him play live again was awesome. #WelcometoHell 2014 KingKongs reign has just begun. GGWP So much love for the SC2 Scene !

P.S Thanks to Dox who was a great Co Caster for Saturday and ETL Soundwave who while we didnt meld as well with each other was good fun to casting along side you.

Hey guys lots to do and say when I'm back in Sydney but just a quick heads up had some requests for replays. I've got all the replays from the 12 computers to the right of stage and the 2 main stage computers. I didn't manage to get the replays from the 8 computers on the left side of the stage.

TL;DR All games except for games played between computers on the left side of the room should be available. I'll try to sort out an organised replay pack this week.

Hey guys so just got back to Sydney (good to lie in my own bed again!). I feel it's probably unnecessary creating a new thread for feedback so just like a lot of you have already done just reply post or create a blog with any feedback be it good or bad about the event so I can take it on board to keep improving the experience at future events.

Obviously the venue heat or the "Hot Box" as I came to call it was not ideal but you were all very patient about it. The glaring thing for me was no audio for the live viewers during games. We've noticed a lot of pro gamers don't own ear buds - that or we haven't been clear in the necessity of bringing them. For spectator audio to work effectively at our events we need to pump white noise through the Commander headsets with players receiving game audio through their ear buds. This is the only reliable way we can ensure players don't hear caster audio. For ACL Sydney this won't be an issue but apologies for those affected at this event and I will be sure to work with players to remind them to bring ear buds for Sydney where possible. I will put up memorable stream games up on our YouTube channel so you can enjoy them again with audio!
