For this Masters Cup we are proud to promote National Youth Week (NYW) and the the Australian National Youth Mental Health organisation - headspace. NYW is the largest celebration of young people in Australia.

This Masters Cup is a double elimination style tournament for Starcraft 2, Heart of the Swarm. $120 prize on offer to the winner, $75 2nd prize, $45 3rd, $20 4th and 5/6th $15 each. $300 prize pool*! In addition, the highest ranked Australian player will win a $50 PC Case Gear voucher, thanks to headspace Australia! There is also 820 Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series points up for grabs! Times + Format

Date: Sunday, 13th of April, 2014 (KR/AEST/SG) / Saturday 12th of April, 2014 (PST/EST).
Time: Sunday 1pm AEST, 12pm KR, 11am SGT / Saturday 8pm PST, 11pm EST

(If both players agree, their series can be played on another server, but must you notify admin before + after)
Battle.net Group: Join the group SEA Masters Cup.

Double Elimination.
- Upper Bracket bo3
- Lower bracket bo1 until 7/8th placing, where becomes bo3 (2nd last round before semi finals)

1st $120 + 250 OCS points
2nd $75 + 160 OCS points
3rd $45 + 100 OCS points

7/8th 20 OCS points each
9-12th 15 OCS points each
13-16th 10 OCS points each
17-24th 5 OCS points each
25-32nd 2.5 OCS points each

Bonus OSC points can be earned if:

Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points

Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series

Masters Cup is a partnered tournament of the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC). OSC is the SEA regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments. The top 32 players ranked via SEA Power Rankings / OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion!

PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.

Without these companies contributing to our tournament it's fair to say the prizepool would be far smaller. But it's not just about the $'s. All these companies have a long history of supporting Starcraft 2 and esports in SEA. They care about the scene and our community. So many thanks to them all!
