Sydney Gamers League have announced a large first place $250 cash prize, plus a set of Razer Banshee gaming headsets and 12GB of Kingston Ram for their StarCraft 2 competition; at the up-coming Super Hero SGL 5 LAN event on April 30th. This will be their first LAN event for 2011 and is set to be an excitingly huge event for local Sydney gamers; on top of the massive StarCraft 2 competition prize just announced, they have also announced gear prizes for a plethora of competitions to the value of over $10,000.

The LAN begins 12:00PM AEST 30th of April and concludes on 4:00PM AEST 1st of May, with online tickets available at $40 and tickets available at the door on the day at $45, the LAN will be held at Macquarie University – The Atrium, Macquarie Park. Sydney Gamers League have been providing local Sydney gamers with fun and enjoyable LAN experiences for the better part of this millennium, and under their latest management team have successfully run five massive LAN events each with over four-hundred attendees.
