Pt.1 Season 1 countdown + Community Fun-Day

It's been an awesome year to kick off the SEA Championship Series. There's been 72 completed tournaments as of this post, with a few more to come over the next two weeks. The competition for points has been intense, but it all concludes on Sunday 10th November. The Grand Finale Series featuring the 32 best players will then be two weeks later on November 23 + 24.

To celebrete the end of the season, we will be running a special community fun day featuring several SEA pro players and personalities. From 10am AEDT on Sunday 10 Nov - 3am Monday we will be streaming their ladder sessions, free coaching, community custom games, Q&A, show matches, etc.

Time slots will be confirmed a bit closer to the day, but so far those who have volunteered to stream are: Fray'Petraeus, x5PiG, NvRossi, Fray'Fenner, Fray'iaguz, FlashBlysk, SLCN.Petrify, SLCN.Kez + Livibee.

If anyone else is interested in contributing their time or helping out in some way, please contact Eddie or pXtRoy before the 10th and we'll see if we can fit you in. Thanks to all who are volunteering their time!

Pt.2 Fundraiser to boost Grand Finale Prizepool

Second reason for running this fun day is we're hoping the community can chip in towards the prizepool. All money goes to the players. We want to make this as big as possible, and a true reflection on the years season. We do have a couple of sponsors coming on board, which will be announced in the next few weeks, but a lot of this money will be coming from private contributions or my own pocket. Many of the SEA pro's will be taking time out of their day, schedule, and potential earnings to give back to the community. While not a requirement, we are hoping some of those who can spare a few dollars will give back to these guys. A spare $10, $20 all adds up! In addition any donation of $20 AUD or more will have exclusive access to all replays from the seasons finals. Donations are open now, and will close on Nov 17th.



We hope you will tune in sometime throughout the day, join us for some games, and show your support to the players, this tournament, and our scene. Most of all, have some fun watching sc2!

Any ideas for activities/games for the day are also welcomed.

10 Nov is scheduled to be GPDL Season 1's Semi Finals. If possible, maybe we could have the streamers stream GPDL Season 1 and I could shift the finals and 3rd place match forward to the same day too!

We are very close to our target prizepool! Groups and prizepool will be finalised before the weekend. So if anyone still wishes to donate there's still a couple of days left.
