At the beginning of the SEACL 2013, when our BSG numbers were like rock bottom low (with the then closely knit BSG mostly promoted to PD), a group of BSG players joined the mGG BSG tournament hosted by Goose and Alpha.
Since then some have joined mGG. Though shy at first, they have since become pretty chatty. One day Irish said, we gotta have another BSG tourney. This time to see who is the best amongst the mGG BSG members.
After talking about it every now and then and now that GMC is coming to a close, this idea has been revived.
So...
Calling All mGG BSG players to respond!
Indicate your interest to be part of this tourney starting this weekend either in this thread, in the BSG Skype chats or pming me directly by Friday 16-August.
Brackets will be made known by Saturday 17-August.
Format : Round Robin 3-game series Start date :17 August End date : 8 September

Reason: Final extension of deadline by a week
Not sure...i'm sooo rusty (haven't played for a few weeks). So is this like GMC? where i can play the game anytime i am free? or is it a set time that the first game (round 1) starts on the 17th of August all the way to the 1st September (finals)?
What time does it start? If i were playing, i definitely can't on the usual Clan War times.
If the game is set time, i won't commit to it. As usual, if i am going out, than i will go out no matter what. So i don't want to ruin the line ups and brackets.
Beside...i am am sooo rusty and i am not good. At the end, i have to see if i feel like joining it or not.

It's round robin format. You have to play each player in a bo3 in any order depending on who u can grab hold of for that particular day. Initiative is on yourself to get in touch with all your opponents within the 2 weeks time frame. You have 2 weeks to complete all your games and pm all results to me. At the end the score is added and the person with most number of game wins, wins.

For non mGG BSG players who are interested e.g. troy and abbadonz, pm me your Skype details.
We have decided to include 2-3 non mGG players because we just need more fun for BSGers in general but we'll look at who is interested and committed (i.e. able to actually play the games and not have to leave half way through), discussed with my other BSGers and confirm via Skype and with the confirmations on thread by tomorrow. The cap is mainly because too many players would make the tourney having too many rounds to manage.

Well i do hang out in the channel a lot.... however its probably not as much noticed since when i log in it's probably 11am-12pm your guys time zone.
If its games played during the week, then i probably cant commit since they will be super early in the morning for me :/. Oh wells!.... If i win that lottery maybe i can change that around!

BSG Record: 57W 42L 1DC -
Best Finish = BSG 88, BSG 100
[11:30 PM] CleighMoores: Were you the guy from Canada?
I have added pXtRoy, ETL.abbadonz, DGTVTribe and IcedTea to join us.
However I still need ETL.abbadonz to pm me his Skype details. Added him first because once the brackets are made I cant add more players in.
What each player has to do :
Get in touch with each of the participants.
Arrange a time/day to do your set of 3 games with each other. You have to till 1 September to complete all games. Do not leave it to the last minute to do them! Protip : weekends the best time to get players.
PM me the results.
If you think any game is interesting, send the replay to me and I might do a short highlight writeup for it. (Sorry no stream/casting)
Placings will be based on games won. The 3 games series means there is the potential to get 3-0 as a score for a set.
Top player will get cookies!!!
GL HF!!! LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
