Please read the rules if this is your first time entering

Tournament Eligibility:
You must be legitimately in the Bronze, Silver or Gold league (1v1 - SEA license) and you must be active on ladder.
Everyone will be checked for typical smurf activity designed to keep them in a lower league.
Anyone found to be smurfing will be added to the BSG Hall of Shame so everyone can be aware of their shameful acts.

Rules

• You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" to play your match
• You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
• You must play your main 1v1 ladder race throughout tournament.
• Observers: Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
• Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
• Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
• Disconnects: If a player disconnects, use the 'Resume from Replay' feature to continue the game. If the player has gone offline completely, inform an admin and wait 10 minutes for them to return.
• Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
• Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and we'd like to see it stay that way.
• Replays: Should be saved at least until the following tournament. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.
• Anyone suspected of smurfing (playing another person's account, manipulating ladder to be in a lower league) will be thoroughly investigated and if found guilty, prizes will be stripped and they will be reported to Blizzard and added to the Hall of Shame.

1. Round of 32 bo1 on Star Station
2. Round of 16 bo1 on Red City LE
3. Quarter Finals bo3 on Bel'Shir Vestige LE
4. Semi Finals bo3 on Newkirk Precinct TE
5. Grand Final bo5 on Derelict Watcher TE

For finals rounds that are best of 3 or 5, loser of previous game may pick any map from the following list. Maps may be repeated as many times as players wish.

Question: My rank atm sits in gold, however i have been playing in Platinum on the NA servers.. just this justify my chance to enter this tournament?

Are you laddering actively on SEA as well? As long as you're active on ladder and playing legitimate games here, then you're fine.

well since the new season has started ive just started playing more, but been very sick this week. i was on NA before i made my return to SEA about 2 weeks ago.

Due to the changes in MMR and the more conservative placements resulting in many players getting demoted at the start of this season, even if u were plat/dia end of last season, it is probably best not to play in a BSG.

There is always the GPD. Let the 'real' BSG players have their fun. It isn't fair or fun for them if they get roflstomped by players who are clearly not 'BSG's.

well im currently gold.. and i was only in silver last season but on NA i was platinum.. im happy to pull out if that's the unfair advantage and ill try my luck in the GPD games..

I understand if a low plat gets demoted to gold after a lot of inactivity, and is allowed to play
but "Nutmeg's" highest career finish was Diamond 1v1 (WoL 2013 Season 1)
can someone please have a look at this and tell me if he's actually allowed to play?

I'd need to have a closer look at the account, but having been diamond for so long in WoL, unless they've had a race change and I can see they've been laddering properly as new race for a decent amount of time (or other possibly legitimate reason) then they probably won't be allowed to play
