Life becomes the first Heart of the Swarm
MLG Champion.

The first Heart of the Swarm champion is crowned. While much of the discussion leading up to the event was focused on the effectiveness of Bio + Widow Mines, Lee "Life" Seung Hyun defied the odds and as the only Zerg player still left in the bracket by the round of 8 was able to rein supreme as back to back MLG champion and one of only three players to win two MLG titles. His opponent, Lee "Flash" Young Ho, nicknamed the ultimate weapon for his dominating effectiveness as the Ace player for Korean team KT Rolster could not hold off Life's relentless ling baneling aggression in a varied six game set.

Also beyond the actual result, this MLG was really awesome, the change of layout to make each of the areas more sectioned off and the increased production were incredible. It's really a pity about the open bracket but I think if this is the only way they can get this level of quality and spectator setup then I think I'm okay with it as long as there are online qualifiers for the next event.

The only downfall to this MLG for me was that for some ******* retarded reason, MLG decided to have the "MLG on Reddit" sidebar on the VOD page.

So when I went to watch the VODs of the GF I was greeted by a big old "Life defeats Flash. Final score 4-2...
