It has been discussed in the Skype group and decided with the admins that we will use the same rule as used in Tier 5.
This rule sees that if no suitable starter is provided by the given time allocated (24 hours prior to the games) that the team will forfeit the first series and start 0-1 down.
The rules will now see that if you cannot supply a Platinum player, your opposing team may reselect a Diamond player of their choosing.
So
This applied to the ToT late submission of their starting players will begin their series 0-1 down. The starting players will remain the same but the series will start at 0-1 not 0-0.
Managers not being allowed in game is stupid without designated referees in their place. Casters are there to cast, not host games.
It also means that I don't have all the replays in case they're needed.
Players should be able to host the map properly - or you can host it for them, invite the players that need to be in there, then leave...
Tell your team to keep their replays and email them to you after each match. Simple Solution.. yay!
edit: dont think there is any sarcasm - I was directly answering your concern. Anyway, I had no idea managers were not permitted in games - if they aren't deal with it.
What's the advantage of not having managers in game to manage? That's been the case for every previous SEACL, the new rule just adds unnecessary bullshit to my job.
Special mention to AxSRisinG for some impressive play.
Great games from everyone; Great series
