Alright buddy, here's what you're going to want to do.
Bear with me on this one, it might be quite intense.
First off you're going to make an SCV. Yeah, that's right an SCV. You probably wouldn't have ever thought it since you play Protoss, but its 100% true. Next up, another SCV. You're probably thinking "WTF 2 scvs? The **** is this shit I want to win already" - don't worry man, your time is coming.
**** the third SCV and drop a depot. You know the supply depots. They are worse than overlords because they can't EZ scout and worse than pylons because they can't insta-warp in an army anywhere. BUT, they go up and down - pretty good right?
Forget about making any more SCVs and make thirteen barracks. THIRTEEN. What you're going to want to do after you make those 13 barracks is make 1 marine from each. That way every barracks is 'blooded', or knows what it's like to perform in combat. With each barracks being equal this will prevent any uprisings in the future. Communism best, right? With those 13 marines, you will move command into the opponent's base, exclaiming - "WE ARE USA AND DECLARE THIS LAND OURS", and upon doing so nuke the shit out of everything.
This will leave you with a desolate wasteland, but also a victory.
Please enjoy.
P.S - alternatively make 1 siege tank and win vs every race.
I would suggest building marines and scvs and rax and ccs, do that until you can constantly produce scvs/marines then go from there
sound advice that mate, thats what i have been doing and then after expo thors and medivacs and its working well. also throw in some mauraders/tanks at times depends on what i see scouting

1. Learn some basics: Hotkeys and Mechanics. Mechanics like: Macro, Scouting, Game Sense, MetaGame, etc. You should have like 5 to 6 hotkeys (I don't really use the saved screen buttons, but I suggest you learn them).
2. After getting some solid Mechanics like Macro, you're ready to go for some build orders. You can check some sites like VB_heathen posted, www.GosuBuilds.com. It has B.Os for all matchups with it's Pros/Cons. But here are my Openers I love to use with TvX.
----TvZ:
***1 Barracks Gasless Expand into 3 Barracks (2 reactors / 1 Techlab) Stim-Medivac Timing into 5 Barracks Aggro or getting your 3rd Base early and go for fast 2/2. (BIO)
=Favorite Build
***1 Barracks Gasless Expand into Hellion/Banshee to fast 3rd Command Center to Marine/Tank Composition
***Reactored-Hellion Expand into Bio or Marine/Tank.
(It's an old opener, but it's effective for map control and creepy denies)
---TvP:
***1 Barracks Gasless Expand into an aggress 5 Barracks Aggro
(TvP Bomber Style)
***2 Barracks Pressure with Concussive Shells to Combat Shield = Favorite Build
(then expanding into your natural and going for that 2 Medivac Marine/Marauder timing push around 10:30 to 11:00 minutes. You should have damaged the Protoss with your pressure)
***2 Barracks Pressure with Stim into a 2/1/1 all-in. (Cheese)
---TvT:
***1 Barracks Gasless Expand (ThorZain's Variation)
***1 Barracks Gasless Expand into 3 Barracks Timing = Favorite Build
(it's very effective if you see your opponent going for that all-inish Fast Tank pressure/allin, you can start your Marauder and with good positioning, you already put your opponent behind in terms of economy)
***Banshee Expand
***Fast Tank All-In
***Reaper Expand
***Marine/Hellion Elevator Build
3. Learn to micro and split your units especially in TvZ. You need to split your army insane so you wont die with MoneyFungals+Baneling bombs.
4. Multi-tasking, pronged attacks, drops. These three are the heart and potential of a Terran user, I managed to climb up to 2nd Place in last 2 or 3 GPD Open and hit Masters because of this. As for my personal experience as a Terran player, I am not afraid to use and abuse my drops as possible as I can. It shows your true potential as a Terran user... just don't forget to watch over your units and pick them up when you know your opponent is going to defend that drop. 1 thing: PUT YOUR OPPONENT OUT OF POSITION.
lastly, 5. Decision-Making. Watching Replays can definitely help you improve your decision making. I, to be honest, am not good on my decision making skills but I'm still trying to put in my head that I NEED to watch replays and know my mistakes on each of my play. So yeah, watch replays and improve that decision making. *looks at LG-IM_Mvp* @_@

if you are bronze player, just focus on producing only scv , marines and marauders (with stim and upgrades , if you can remember them, stim is most important though!!), constant scv production, try not to get supply blocked (on 2 bases? have more than 4 barracks up and running? make 2 supply depos at a time).
Don't focus on fancy micro, multi control groups for now, for bronze league you should do fine with just constant marine/marauder/scv production and just A moving everything, once you get the hang of Terran production/expanding then start focusing on proper build orders/tactics imo
Being very new to StarCraft and wanting to play Terran I found this post very helpful. So thank you everyone who has commented and thanks to Zakattack for the post.
im gold league terran. and reading through the previous comments they are all so correct. constant scv production is a must up untill 70ish scv's. i usually push out around 10minute max with various arrangements of units and i love the way the build works. thanks to FilterStarcraft!!
