Hi all,

I'm back in Hong Kong for the holidays and am attempting to organise a LAN get-together for some of our local SC2'ers in the New Year. I've started a thread on TL to try and keep things in one place, but will be checking this thread as well - would anyone be interested in joining in? Most likely date at the moment is Saturday 05/Jan.

P.S. Have a photo here showing Sogo department store, the big traffic crossing and where the building is that the LAN cafe is in! Hopefully those that go directly will be able to navigate their way there.

Hey all,

So it looks like the meet will be quite a small one BUT we should at least get 5-6 going! Could be a fun afternoon

To clear up exactly when, we're going for SATURDAY THE 5TH OF JANUARY between 2pm and 7pm (possibly with dinner to follow). We will meet at 2pm inside the net cafe (address in OP), and I'll do my best to wear an obviously-Starcraft-related shirt so that people can find me if we haven't met before.

Between TeamLiquid and SC2SEA we should have a few showing up, good to see some cohesion even if it's amongst a few of us! Looking forward to seeing you there!

P.S. Please confirm if you'll be there and if you don't mind, PM or leave me your phone number. I intend on meeting anyone who can't navigate to the net cafe at Causeway Bay MTR Station at 1:45pm at exit D1 which is one of the Sogo exits. However, if you don't tell me you're meeting me then, I won't know that I need to wait for you so may leave without you! So please let me know in advance if you'd like to meet before heading up.

For sure! I'll actually be in Australia shortly (but seeing a lot of family so little time to head out with friends sadly) for ten days in Melbourne/Sydney. For now though I'll get Hong Kong organised!

Finally, for those that are joining us directly at the venue I have put together a crude panoramic of the road outside Sogo to show you where the building is. Hopefully you can find the Sogo department store (seen on the right of the photo as the big massive thing on the corner at one end of the huge traffic light crossing), and work out where the building is (big red arrow on the left, 7/F).

I will be meeting people at Causeway Bay MTR station at 13.45 on Saturday, and will wait until 13.50 (so we can get to LAN centre in time to greet everyone else at 14.00). Please take note of this map if you're late and/or can't let me know! I have taken down mobile numbers that have been PM'ed to me and will text you on the day.

Remember to read the OP for all details about where the venue is etc., and Causeway Bay MTR Exit D1 (I'll be in an obvious SC2 shirt) at 13.45 today, will wait until about 13.55 before setting off. So far, I only have TCPMilkyMan and LoToRviC confirmed 100% as meeting me at the MTR station - I'm not sure about everyone else, so if you want me to wait for you, make sure you PM me or reply here and let me know ASAP

I'll probably dash back to the MTR station at around 14.10 just to be completely sure we haven't left anyone waiting in case someone is late.

Hi guys! We are now at G-Force.
I will be going down to the MTR station now in case we have a straggler or two, then coming back to play. In the mean time, if you show up, we are in the closed off room to the side (slightly more expensive but really nice!) - seats 72-75 at the moment so sit next to us!

If/when you get on BNet go to channel HKLAN - we'll be there. :-)
