With the holiday season upon us, I thought it would be nice to have one last posting for the year. So here it is, mGG Mini Update #10. A nice round number for a nice rounding off to mGG's first 12 months on the scene.
Up coming events
- Dec 27th GPD clan war with VB.
- Jan 6th will see the City Hunter Chatswood (Sydney) New Years Festival. Everyone in Sydney is encouraged to come down either to spectate or participate. At present myself, tioN and Spirit are likely participants.
- Jan 19th will see mGG's first birthday. Nothing is planned yet, but we are hoping to have some form of get together in at least Sydney and Singapore.
Tournaments and clan wars
- xJieun wins the TN Weekly #6, going 2-0 over ColMinigun
- Probe makes it to the RO4 of the Silicon Sports Cup.
- Our / played their cw against FaDe, going down 5-2. Congratulations go out to Chase, who was our only player getting kills.
- Our BSG group played the E-Sports SG tournament on Sunday night. This was a grueling team-format tournament between mGG, OS, ToR and FS. mGG managed to overcome FS in a BO9, 5-4 in a grueling match lasting almost 3 hours. Next up was OS in a BO7, with OS taking it 4-1, with metaStatic managing to take the sole win.

iM.Light (honourary)
Light has been spending a great deal of time with us, giving advice, playing games and especially making men weep in micro tourney. The heart of mGG has always been about fun, team work and involvement, and to have Light agree to be listed as an honouray member because of these attributes is a testament to the hard work and passion of every mGG member.
Teary, Weepy stuff that I am far too Manly to have ever written
If you say otherwise, I will deny it.
As this year draws to a close and also rounds out our first year as a clan, I'd like thank each and every person who has been involved with mGG, whether as member or as someone outside mGG offering help and advice when we needed it. The passion and dedication of people in the SEA region and here at SC2SEA.com is equally as important as any work that we have put in.
This past year has been hectic, yet incredibly rewarding. To see mGG go from strength to strength has left every single one of the leaders breathless with amazement. Many, many thanks go out to CwnAnnwn and Thoth for founding mGG on such a great ethos, Asrathiel and Muex for constant advice and support, and most especially to Alpha and Nemesis for their constant efforts in making sure everything is running smoothly for mGG.
Just to add, the roster will be updated in time, but seeing as I want to review the formatting of the roster and the home thread, I'll do them all at once.
Im sure ill give a big speech come our proper 1 year, but for now I just have to say to every one in mGG that you guys are all amazing, and I it has been a great privileged to have been with you guys. Thoth and Cwn, you guys did something amazing starting this clan, every member is a great friend and support. Id like to echo a big thanks to Asrathiel and Muex for always having an opinion and great advice when we are trying to figure every thing out, Nem, the newest captain who has taken to the role amazingly, you have been an amazing help to me and goose over the last few months (and hell since you first joined mGG :P) And Goose, you've been an amazing leader and Friend and mGG wouldnt be the same with out you.
Just the fact that looking back over the last year my biggest highlight was probably the road trip down to Sydney with stealth (and cwn for the last 2 hours) and hanging out with all the mGG guys (and Asrathiel) and watching the game we all love.
Too every member of mGG love you all (particularly stealth........no homo).
Merry Christmas to every one one sc2sea.
P.S. as always thanks for the update Goose
P.P.S that went longer then expected >.< but still big speech in bound come January :P

After been invited or asked to consider various other clans, I still remember being a little unsure and nervous in the mGG channel. I wasnt even certain I wanted to join a clan. :P But that one week showed how lively and friendly the channel (compared to the others I popped in). I remember one game muex was spectating with me and he said, I wonder what I can do to help the bronzes/silvers (something like that) and I was like wow, ppl here want to help. I am glad to say that since thoth extended the invite and I accepted, I havent looked back with any regrets yet.
Being in mGG has certainly +3/+3/+3 my sc2 experience. And it makes it easy to want to do stuff for you people in mGG because it just comes all naturally when I see the enthusiasm and excitement from everyone. mGG is truly a community based clan.
And don't forget about our race wars to end the year next weekend.
Looking forward to more fun and laughter, promos and improvements and everything nice.

Merry Christmas everyone, to this day im still surprised at the success that has been achieved by mGG and that it has kept to its original purpose of being a fun, friendly community environment for like-minded starcraft players. While I may have founded mGG with Cwn and got it through its infancy, the amount of effort required to get it where it is today would have not been possible without (a lot of) help from everyone in mGG, especially Nemesis, Ali (alpha), Goose, Asrathiel and Muex.
So a big thank you to everyone who has participated and helped to make mGG what it is today, you guys are the heart and soul of this clan, and I couldn't be more proud.
