Thought it would be nice if all the heroes of sc2sea had cool customised anime avatars of themselves!! Heroes are those who kindly dedicate their time and efforts regularly to make the sc2sea events enjoyable for us. This refers to key site staff as well as the casters who support our tournaments. For the other newer staff or those who have gone inactive - have no worries, keep up the good work and in time you will have one too

How many can you identify?

Clues: Everything in the picture is there for a reason! If you do not recognise some of their faces look around for clues either in the background or the people next to them Lots of easter eggs in here haha!! Bigger version here, zoom in!

First of all credit goes to HDPhoenix for figuring out all coaches have whistles and all casters have mics, after that some became really obvious! Also, many people initially were forgetting that this is only for sc2sea key staff / casters and I had to remind them! For the more difficult ones - credit to EdgE for being the first to correctly identify Torniquet and OxygeN and then to Lennx for his very impressive detective work. Making the connection with BakaInu's name, Eddie's rings, cure's avatar, crazerks feather pen(this was the hardest imo) and the process of elimination to finally find Paroxysm!

From Left to Right

First Row: sheepy, nirvAnA, mOOnGLaDe, kelly, OxygeN
Theme: The pioneering members of the site / team aLt!

Some interesting trivia - nirvAnA has a sc2sea userID (shows that you were the Xth person to register on the site) of #1 & #2, kelly #6, oxygen #7, sheepy #10, moonglade #86. We have over 3,000 members today and they were the very first members of this brave new era. It also has an all ialt aLt lineup sans glade. Yes the present day obesities that are sheepy and nirvana did look this once upon a time, and this was based on our who's who profile pictures! the glade resemblance is obvious and based on his ESL?! pic,his kerrigan winged zerg queen kelly by his side and OxygeN completes the pioneer/coach/aLt pattern giving the (ironical?!) thumbs up!

Second Row: HDPhoenix, Jaczie, Benji, Xeen
Theme: The senior casters of SEA who still actively cast our tournaments till this day

Mothership Studios CEO Phoenix, drop of sunshine jaczie, benji and his razor headset and lastly Xeen the winner of the "Most Popular SEA Caster" poll with his trophy which says "Mr Popular" but which can only be seen in the high resolution version!

Third Row: Frost, BakaInu, Zergtastic, Paroxysm
Theme: The Head Admins of sc2sea.

Frost the clan head with the "frost" effect, bakainu one half of the BSG head team (inu means dog in japanese), zergtastic next to him as his "other half" with the overlord referencing his infamous "overlord scouting cost" thread and the mic to signify his occasional casting. Eddie the GPD head with the gold, plat and diamond rings, and lastly paroxysm the CO head who well, is an avid soccer player. This one was especially hard since not many people knew that or knew what he looked like! Lennx brilliantly put it together through the process of elimination (and also saw his skype avatar lol)

Fourth Row: SkyBreaker, crAzerk, HuT, Sixth
Theme: This row doesn't really have a theme and is the hardest row because not many people know what they look like

Once upon a time Skybreaker was famous for laying down his ban hammer and saving our community from destructive trolls. At one point before he stepped in, the site was basically a troll fest with girly nirvana too lenient to do any banning on his own. crazerk the head writer has a bunch of poker cards which was in the picture the artist used but that was actually a red herring, the key was the feather pen in his ear to show his writer heritage! HuT this one i thought was fairly obvious with a HuT in the background and a microphone, silly HuT outting yourself with your post! Wondered how long it would take people to make the connection, i guess most people was thinking house instead of hut in the background. Next to him is his co-casting partner Sixth, even silly kelly couldn't identify him even though she knew hut was next to him! But she guessed hut correctly.

Fifth Row: cure, PiG, iaguz, Torniquet, Mezza
Theme: This row is half aLt half moderators which makes sense cause cure is both

cure the emo haired dude (you could see the resemblance from his avatar) is now in the army so he salutes! pig and iaguz are obvious and complete the aLt trio in the 5th row. torniquet actually means a bandage which helps stop bleeding of some sorts and thats what is on his arm. mezza who is also a full time doctor should be fairly obvious to those who know!

The end! Hope you guys enjoyed playing the guessing game. Pity it was solved so early though haha. Credit for the artwork goes to a random but highly talented japanese artist whom i hired to draw these pictures

these were never meant to a puzzle thing btw and i uploaded their avatars right away. just that pple dont knwo what tehy looked like so thoguht why not just let pple guess for funsies.

the bow is just a city hunter reference and the whistle is nod to his many admin roles he has taken in tournaments

cute loves anime so drew him as an anime hero wielding a pen shaped sword to signify his writer status.
