first of all, youre comparing total viewers to concurrent, of course the total viewers of MLG is going to be higher than the concurrent viewership of dota2.

I was more talking about the how the teams at mlg were disqualified, and how riot is banning teams that have a dota2 or hon team.

Also sc2 and dota2 are quite friendly communities, while sc2 and LoL dont go toegether nearly as well, for the most part sc2 players prefer dota2.

Apparently riot are only "banning" teams with multiple LoL teams - IE an organisation can only have 1 team in their tournament. (i dont follow LoL, i just read it somewhere, i could be wrong)

I'd love a dota team, but dox pointed out good reasons to pick LoL in the OP.

Just confirmed on live on three , riot has changed its mind teams can have LoL and Dota 2 / HoN teams. And in term of viewers what can I say Chinese love their DOTA but the western numbers weren't amazing. Keep in mind LoL has alot of events as well (there last like 5-6 events have all had over 1.5 million unique views) where as DOTA 2 has like one major event every so often. Imagine the views gsl would get if it was like once every 6 months not nightly.

I've got 1.5k games of LoL and I still don't think it is a very good game. I only played to play with friends that I used to play Halo with because we couldn't find another game to play as a group, and once they stopped I stopped. It is boring and the community is horrible.
