There is one fundamental difference between R1CH's and Simon's, which is R1CH still uses the edited Product.SC2Archive files (apart from zhTW) in the original pack made up by Tazerenix and Simon's was updated to use genuine Blizzard ones whose existence was discovered a little later on.
Yet, it never caused problems before, and the only thing which happened was a Tools update. I guess perhaps we were a little lucky earlier on, but I still can't work out why the problem occurs... I used to think it was caused by another patch mismatch thing but I don't think updates have ever been out of sync for this long (apart from the 1.4.2 fiasco).
I'm probably going to get no answers asking here, but has this tied match bug happened on zhTW for anyone?
using richs it happens on NA SEA AND TW for me, as for the relocalizer not letting you select, when it asks do you want to dowload enSG say no. then it allows you to change it, thats the only problem i have with it.
EDIT: when your selecting language make sure you choose US: English not enSG as that will lock it into relocalising to Sea as well.

I've had no issues with alternative clients (SEA&NA Vs. EU) cause I keep two versions of SC2 on my computer. For the small price of having to update two versions of SC2 I can more or less guarentee that there will be no issues cause by two separate clients sharing files (if that makes sense?).
Off-topic: Personally I think it's a shame blizzard hasn't made it so that one client can allow easy swapping between all purchased licenses of SC2 (like what they've done for SEA and NA). Hopefully that'll be fixed in HotS with global play.
