After taking out WCS Canada, Sasha "Scarlett" Hostyn is now $24,000 richer after defeating WCS US Champion ROOTViBe 2-0 in the Winners Bracket Final to take out the continental championship of North America. This puts her total career earnings at $30,000 collectively.

North America are showing a very strong line-up for the next round of WCS held in China.

Cannot underestimate the significance of this to the e-sports scene. Huge achievement against an insanely good lineup.

Women are such a huge portion of the gaming community, yet so underinvolved in e-sports. Want to grow e-sports? Get more girls involved!

Sidenote: Is it just me or has Huk been really crap for quite a while now?

HuK's said that he tried a different approach to the game and it wasn't working for him, so when he started approaching the game for fun again he met a lot more of success. Scarlett is sooo unbelievably good but I'd also like to highlight that IdrA has truly been improving mentally recently, saw him smash Scarlett like 5 times straight on ladder, unfortunately he lost to ViBe but I have hope for the EG player's from Europe and NA + Scarlett to do reasonably well in WCS. Maybe MajOr too.
