Welcome everyone to Victoria Per Arte's (Victory through Skill) first Open BSG Tournament.

Previously introduced at ITN, VPA has grow to the point where we may organise and host a tournament. As the teams current focus is on training our BSG level players and improving their skills. Hence the BSG restrictions, We will of course run a P&D Open Tournament at a later date.

Welcolme to the first Victoria Per Arte Open BSG,

This tournament will be Setup in the single elimination format. Held on Saturday 25th of August @ 11am AEST (GMT+10)

Round of 32: Bo1 on Antiga Shipyard
Round of 16: Bo1 on Shakuras Plateau
Quarter Finals: Bo3 Starting on Metropolis
Semi Finals: Bo3 Starting on Tal'Darim Alter LE
Grand Finals: Bo5 Starting on Metalopolis

In Bo3 and Bo5 players may veto one map each and then a map will be chosen at random, no map may be repeated.

Wondering if Xel'Naga Caverns is meant to be in that map pool?

Yeah it is, whilst I know it has gone out of fashion in pro leagues, due to balance and meta game changes I see no reason not to include such an interesting and old school map in a BSG where balance and the Meta game are less of an issue as opposed to Macro, Mechanics and other such things.
