What kind of a hype thread doesn't have a host of factually baseless, horribly biased and often just flat out stupid predictions from the staff members?
Lemminks: TheCSerps: "My predictions for the weekend have a hint of zerg flavouring, a dash of good looks, and a bucket load of talent. There is no disputing that the best in Australia will be competing this weekend for the National Title, and I will be there to cheer them on. My heart tells me that EdgE v BiGbiRd will be the final after the bird makes a huge comeback through the lower bracket. Alas, my true predictions are that mOOnGLaDe will appear from his secret training facility to crush allcomers and take home the crown. PiG, with great results leading up to this weekend, will take silver in a close fought final, with Light rounding out the Top 3. Special mention to MaFia, tgun and EdgE who I think will qualify for Sunday's Oceanic Finals but honestly it could be anyone in the Top 6 and noone would be surprised. GLHF all!" nirvAnA: I think a Zerg will take it, follow by a Zerg placing second and finally a Zerg placing third! The best hopes for the Non-Zergs out there IMO are Light and iaguz and it would be awesome to see MF's new pick up iaguz or Protoss do well! As for who I hope wins, either PiG or mOOnGLaDe as I feel both of them are perfect ambassadors for eSports in Australia in terms of skill, manner and sexiness and they have always been my heroes. I also hope to see clan mates Yoon, Ninja and iaguz do good in the event. This is a massive event which may very well shape the lives of the winners and I hope everyone can play to their best ability on that day. Crazerk: Cute:
Whoever else etc
Amazing banner man, but doesn't fit small screens that well.

By the way I think you should design so that everything fits in at most 700-800px wide to accommodate the largest audience. Fixed width might also be a good idea so the formatting doesn't shift about.
1000px plus the postbit and the site sidebars though is pretty wide and stuff gets squished.
Oh, well what it is now is fixed width (as in it doesn't resize to anything).
And yeah you're right, 700px is pretty thin on a larger monitor. Full post width is fine, as long as nothing important gets cut-off (like banner text or something). The only issue with a fully resizing layout is it can look a bit stuffed if it is too wide, because the banner and background don't reach all the way across.
A compromise might be what I have edited my post above to be - min-width 700px, max-width 1000px (or however wide your banner is) but resizing in-between, so large monitors get a wide view and the background doesn't run out but on a smaller screen you don't get (too much) side scrolling. Just have to make sure the background is anchored properly so the text doesn't get cut-off.
love what you did with it cute, it looks phenomenal!!
hmm PC there seems to be some problem with the CSS code, which casues the OP to be displayed in the horizontal postbit format. thanks so much for helping cute

That's on purpose - I'm experimenting on this post to see if OPs can be structured better so that it fits better on small resolution screens (see Skype)
And that's good, been going through my stuff trying to figure out where I screwed up to make it go like that. But I actually don't mind it for an OP ^^
