Okay here is the scenario that i have faced recently , that protoss have 4 ~ 5 immortal , stalker and sentries while my army is ultralisk mixed with lings and baneling. my deathball die so fast , i am very mad and that protoss said this to me : You know i have immortal yet you build ultralisk , i was like o_o?

My question is , in mid-game
if protoss have 4 ~ 5 immortal mixed with stalker and sentries ( protoss around 100~120 supplies? ) , what is the best unit to produce? mutalisk or roach , i always think that roach is very weak against those so i try to mix ling but sometimes i just got rolled over easily.

3 ~ 4 Colo + stalker + sentries ( around 100+ supplies too ) , roach and corrupter? , i heard that roach and corrupter is outdated composition. go infestor and fungal?

whatever you do don't build ultras and roaches against (a lot) a toss player with a ton of immortals

If a protoss goes heavy immortal/stalker, the best thing to do is go ling/infestor. Not only does it make the protoss less cost efficient but it makes transitioning to brood lords much easier.

oh and against a heavy colo build just going mass roach into either broods or ultras is fine but the Symbol syle ultras works there as well

If he is going immortal, what are the corruptors going to shoot?
ling/roach/spine early or ling bane with bane drops onto his army are probably the two most common comps. From there you can begin to move into ling/roach/infestor and start moving towards broods.

ultralisks can work, since they do bonus damage to armoured units (stalkers and immortals once their shields run out), but no matter what composition you aim for, you have to have infestors for fungal growth.

i really wanted to try ultralisk + baneling ball but i dont have practice partner :/ sigh much. so question is i need infestor for all my composition at all time? o_O

btw i always died with mass roach when protoss have 4 colo . i guess i gotta practice more then. lol

consider yourself lost if you engage a maxed out toss army with roach max

ultra ling bane festor is a really fun composition to play with,

neural the colo, roll them banes in!
