Hey guys, I'm having some trouble deciding when and what to attacking into in my games. I play terran and would really appreciate some help when it comes to how to know when to attack.
Here's a replay that I was unsure what to do when I got to the bottom of his ramp, any feedback is appreciated and not just on decision making. Thanks.
Once you had those two hellions at the beginning, why not use them for something? You could have poked his main, killed some lings. At the least, you would have had control of the map. The sooner you know what he is up to the better, and you probably could have shut down his expansion pretty early and had him panic into building more units than he needed.
Place all four of your siege tanks in range of his spines and you probably could have taken them out with just one scan (After you had seen them). Since you have him in a good spot inside his base, why not build a few more SCV's? Quick scan would have revealed the Spire, or you could have even run two hellions up seeing as though you know the ramp will be clear thanks to your siege tanks, giving you the hint to start pumping marines and SCV's and even start thinking about expanding.
@disadvantage thanks man, been doing some hellion harass with the two i get out and its pretty helpfull with FE zerg's. Are the scans a good idea or would it be better to get a viking perhaps?
