this is a thread that popped up on TL, I quite like the settings..

The variable.txt file is in your documents SC2 folder (root folder of that holds your replays/screenshots).

Make sure you close the game before you change it otherwise it won't save!

Tried this, and currently im liking it alot. its easy on the eyes and makes the game look so much better while keeping good FPS

If I can play on ultra settings with little to no FPS lag at all, is it worth checking this out? I think I get 40-60 fps (no lower) constantly with the highest settings, and I've never experienced a sudden drop.

It's pretty cool, but for some reason it gave me MAD delays, (and yes I KNOW graphics settings and shit dont effect your connection to battle.net) It made no sense to me.

I did everything to make sure it wasn't my internet, obviously this being the reaction to command delays, I played other games, did speed tests, tracert, checked my resource/performance monitor etc, and they were all fine, then I went through all the settings and hit restore default, then put back my old settings and the delays are gone T_T fml, I really wanted to keep those settings (

Judging by the screenshots it looks a lot like medium graphics settings, the difference?

I think it's just low settings with some medium only settings changed (HDR, simplecloaking etc).

After overwriting my variable.txt, it doesn't seem like any graphics settings at all have changed.

Is there a common mistake I might have made?
