Players will take it in turns to veto one of the above maps, until only one is left, and then that map will be the first played.
The player with the lowest seed (closest to 1) according to Challonge will pick first. Seeding will be done by OSC/SEA Power Rankings.
If you are not ranked on the OSC/SEA Power Rankings your seed will be random.
Following the first game, the loser can choose the map for the next game out of the remaining maps in the pool. (i.e. Maps cannot be repeated.)
Signing Up:
All players are welcome to sign up, regardless of league.
Post your NA ID, Account most known by (If different from registered account, eg SEA, KR ID), Team/Clan and Country.
Example: TossImba.111 ( Scarlett ) - Team Acer - Canada
Signups will close at 11.45am AEDT on Saturday 1st February, Brackets will be finalised on challonge.com shortly after.
If more than 64 players have signed up, then the remaining players will be placed on a waiting list, and may be invited to compete if any of the top 64 players are absent.
All participating players should log on and join the "Hairy Bash" group in Starcraft 2.
If a player is more than 15 minutes late in the first bracket, they may be replaced by a player in the waiting list. If there are no players in the waiting list, they can be counted as forfeiting that game. (At the discretion of their opponent)
If a player is more than 15 minutes late for their game after the first bracket, they can be counted as forfeiting that game. (At the discretion of their opponent)
If a player disconnects, then the game should be continued using the Recover Game feature. If the disconnecting player does not return online within 15 minutes, then they can be counted as losing that series. (Again at the discretion of their opponent)
From Quarter Finals onward, the winning player must submit all replays for their games to the drop.sc website, and then inform an administrator. The replays should be renamed to be of the format "PLAYER1 vs PLAYER2 - MAP - GAME#". These replays will be used to confirm the winner and update the tournament brackets.
REPLAYS MUST BE SUBMITTED for Quarter Finals onward, otherwise the score will not be counted and the winning player may forfeit the game.
The prize money will be distributed via PayPal. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners should message the administrator with their PayPal details (e-mail) after the tournament has concluded. Winnings will be sent out in the following week.
OSC points will be awarded by an administrator of the Oceanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series after the conclusion of the tournament.
Just made a couple of small changes, the Ro64 and Ro32 are now Bo3 instead of Bo1, and also replays are not required until the Quarter Finals and on.
Just a specific note regarding the replays (as in the rules above) submitting the replays to drop.sc is a requirement for proceeding in the tournament past the Quarter Finals, and for receiving any prizes/OSC points. If you don't submit the replays you may be counted as forfeiting your game, even though you won.
The main reason for this rule is because I intend to cast the tournament on my YouTube channel, so missing replays would make that a major pain.
