Loser picks map system. Players who lost the previous game for BO3/5 series chooses from the remaining map pool. The Grand finals is a BO5 series unless both players agree before the first map is played to a BO3 series.

2. Players who are 15 or more minutes late to their games will be disqualified

5. Any inappropriate behavior/map hacking/smurfing/any other form of cheating will result in a DQ and potential banning from future wt Weeklies
6. Players that enter the wT Weekly are not allowed to play in another tournament at the same time unless they request so prior to the tournament and have had clearance
7. If any disconnects occur within the first 5 minutes of the match, the game is replayed. If a disconnect happens after that, the disconnected player will have their game reported as a loss. Note that an admin may change the result if they deem it necessary

Regardless it's great to see wT back in action, one of the best regular SEA tournaments out there (if not the best).

Thanks for feedback this was simply a paste from last year. If anything is unclear let me know so I can edit it.

wT Weekly and wT Majors will be open to any league of any division.

Really the only people who can't enter is anyone who has been DQ in past and is on the blacklist which as it currently stands has nobody.

You never have to sit out. Don't know where that thought came from. Last year the likes of Mafia and KingKong swept multiple weeks straight.

This year with a points system and partnership with SEA Power Ranking it will still give benefit to those who finish high in the tournaments.

Consecutive wins in Masters Cup meant you had to sit out - may not be part of the 2013 program though with the new ranking system in place.

I will be reviewing some things after the first week and will make a call to the community to give feedback on some potentially large changes to the prize pool format of the upcoming year.

You can attach your account to the "wT Weekly" title on the SEA Stream list by going to your stream settings and attaching it to a tournament. Then click casting and attach!

For anybody else a few final notes.


1) Remember competition starts an hour earlier than last year (7PM AEDT)

2) Report your scores to Rogue in the [wT] channel with the following format
[Winners Name] > [Losers Name]
E.G Badfatpanda > PengWin

3) Best of 3s start from Round of 16 now

4) Starting Map and what best of it is (1, 3 or 5) will be located above the brackets

5) If CleighMoores and Weaklink request to cast your game he is doing so for the stream - you may decline to be casted if you wish however if possible allow it.

6) In best of 3s and 5s the loser picks from the remaining map pool. Maps cannot be replayed unless both players agree.

7) Top 4 placing receive SEA Power Ranking points with Top 32 receiving wT Player Points (used for seeding each week).

8) Walkovers occur after the first 15 minutes. If players do not return during a tournament at a later stage you must wait 15 minutes upon being matched with that player to walk them over.

9) Enjoy yourselves!

TARogue will be the Admin tonight who may sit in on games towards the end but there is no specific game referee as players are more than capable of dealing with issues in game. Any unresolved issues will be brought to the attention of Rogue.

In terms of sourcing games you can just let people know in the "[wT]" chat that you are casting and available to cast and somebody will likely PM or invite you. As the amount of players lowers you can start to approach people yourselves if they are out of game requesting you cast their next set. Most players are more than happy to.

In terms of overlays I will get one to you now. Add me on Skype so I can transfer them across "bradley_baldwin"

CleighMoores (AUS) will be joined by Weaklink (USA) for tonight.

Streaming has now shifted over to www.twitch.tv/basetradeTV where Weaklink will be hosting using that USA internet we may one day get access to.

I just checked brackets and challonge has undergone some changes in how it generates and displays brackets (in a good way). The brackets will now be a lot cleaner with them removing blank matches (E.G if only 6 players are playing in Round of 128) it will only show the 6 players in that round and every other rectangle will be deleted.

Seeding for first week will be randomly shuffled and then the top 16 will be seeded using 2012's total tally which can be found here http://www.sc2sea.com/showpost.php?p=132106&postcount=7
