There will be multiple ways to spectate the event.
At the Barcraft:
SOGC will be hosting an event on the 15th of September and they have allowed us to host a live Barcraft at their event. Anyone is welcome to attend the event, however if you are under 18 you are unable to purchase alcohol. The Barcraft opens at 2pm however the event itself is open at 12pm (Midday). The Barcraft finishes when the bracket ends, however SOGC runs until 10pm.
SOGC will be held at West Ryde Leagues Club, located at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club, 117 Ryedale Rd, West Ryde, 2114 . Best way to get there is via train, as West Ryde train station is simply down the road. Entry to the venue is free.
The casters and event production will be at the event, however the players will be offsite.
Online via Stream:
Perhaps you are busy or interstate on Saturday and are unable to attend the live event, then please support this event by watching the twitch stream at www.twitch.tv/esportsdaily
We are a new country to IeSF, lets support their decision to allow us to their event by supporting the Australian Finals in whichever way you can!
Brackets were seeded randomly and were only shuffled once. Any complaints may be directed to the RNG gods.
The event will start at 2pm, please be in the channel ‘IeSF Aus’ at 1:45pm. Due to the nature of it being a live barcraft event, we cannot have any significant delays. Please understand that we don’t have the luxery of running late and having long breaks between games. If you need a break, talk to the admin in the channel first. Also, the admin may hold games for the stream to have less downtime for the live views and audience, please check before starting your next series if you can begin or not.
Whilst the event, Barcraft, Casting etc are being held at SOGC, players will not be permitted to play their games from the venue due to lack of soundproofing. You are to play your games from the comfort of your home.
First place will receive a return ticket to South Korea, as well as Accommodation and Food expenses for the period in South Korea. The IeSF Grand Finals takes place from the 2nd-6th of October.
If you have any queries, please contact myself via PM here on sc2sea, or any other way you can directly contact me, or leave a post in this thread.

Unable to make this or the finals in Korea, can I give my spot to my teammate Tgun, who placed 3rd in one of the qualifiers anyway?
Cheers!
that sucks you can make it rayray..
But the fair thing would be to invite all the 3rd place finishes to play off round-robin or something for the spot. (those being: RageBoredGuy, Leggionaire, sRZenAku and YoonYJ) - Not tgun at all.. :P
Unfortunately we cannot do this, if players are unable to play, they will simply be a walkover.
That's extremely stupid. I agree with chad, it should be given to someone via some sort of play-offs between 3rd places.. or something.. but he's giving prior notice he's unable to play..

just stupid.
Yeah - I agree.. if it was on the day that Light said he couldn't play - then sure W.O.. but someone else should be given the opportunity to play imo.

I'm actually a little offended that you are calling me stupid. 2 days is not sufficient time to run any sort of qualifier, both nights are completely written off for myself and the team with equipment checks and prep for the event on Saturday.

I'm sure someone else could run a 4 player round robin for you - wouldn't take very long...

You don't even have to run a qualifier, at very worst you could just seed whoever came 3rd (to light) in that bracket into his spot. It's just flat out stupid to have someone be a walkover when you're given advance notice and have many top players in SEA who would fill in the spot at a moments notice.
I'll talk to the team tonight, I doubt we will run another bracket, it'll either be a walkover or whoever got 3rd in Lights qualifier getting the spot (Can't recall who it was from memory)

Hey I'm really sorry to give such short-notice of my absence. I have a reason for this, and that is I always thought that the Australian Finals was to be played:
Quote:
The final bracket will be Bo3 double elimination and take place on Saturday 22nd of September at 1pm AEST.
Obviously I missed out the later posts that rescheduled this final, and that is definitely my responsibility. However I'd be really upset if I just took someone's spot when I had no idea that I couldn't even make this final.
In regards to the the debate between Benji and Chadman/Tgun. I can see and understand both sides of the argument. However, due to my personal guilt that I literally just stuffed someones opportunity to participate in this by qualifying myself, I am really pushing for someone to take my spot rather than a walkover.
