just get like 4 stalkers in the main and have an obs watching the route he'd take with his medivacs. If he sends more then 2 medivacs, send more stalkers.

Very simple rule though, if you're going to send most of your army up to handle a drop, forcefield your ramp first. Delays any runby a bit, and lets you focus your attention on shutting down the drop.

Yeh the issue was you didn't have anything in the main.
with this push and especially on shakuras drops are gonna be really good.
So make sure you create another control group with like 4 stalkers and 3 zealots or so and just have them running around in your main to deflect drops.

If he runs up your ramp at the same time forcefields a guardian shield and all those zealots will absolutely decimate his army.

I've found that when I used to play as terran and I dropped if the protoss had 4-5 stalkers surrounding the base to deflect drops with good awareness they could always target down the medivac and kill the few if any dropped units.

I've had great success defending this shit with uber rushed HT play. After that, I usually lose cuz my 3rd is delayed.
