The rise of Notorious PiG, and how he defeated Mafia
Jared Krensel "Tt.PiG" (above) defeated Timothy He "iM.Mafia" in a stunning Zerg versus Zerg final at the Australia Cyber League Melbourne Nationals.
PiG came fought his way back from the lower bracket after losing in the second round to Mafia's protoss team-mate Ray Zi "iM.Light". PiG couldn't hold a single match against Light. It wasn't until dropping down into the lower bracket that PiG began to shine.
Bradley Seymour "GoSu.tgun" and crowd favourite to win the event Andrew Pender "Nv.mOOnGLaDe" both fell quickly to PiG. Neither player was able to steal a single game away from PiG.
"I'm going to study some replays," said tgun in a post match interview. "I've learnt a lot".
His last obstacle to the final was none other than Light. After defeating PiG earlier in the tournament, Light looked set to knock out PiG. Light appeared a bit shaken during the match having just lost 2-0 to team-mate Mafia.
On a role with 4 wins from 2 matches, PiG looked as if nothing could stop him. Light soon faded to darkness as PiG's Zerg steamroller defeated yet another player. Getting vengence for his early knockout from the upper bracket.
Mafia sat waiting for PiG in the final having only lost 2 of the 8 games, in the upper bracket, that he played. Less than a month ago, Mafia took out the number on spot in the Grandmaster League, on the Korean server.
A recent addition to Team Immunity, Mafia said "they have been looking after me".
This is one of our first posts covering eSports, so I'd love as much feedback as you can give me!
Our goal in covering esports is to make it as accessible as possible, to make it easier for newcomers to get excited and interested. So you wont find an in depth strategic analysis in this feature. But hopefully, it's an interesting portrait of PiG.

Awesome write up, just thought I'd point out your use of 'role' should be 'roll', and 'vengence' should be 'vengeance', that's all I really saw in terms of feedback.
Yeah this is something we've been thinking about for a while. I've pushed some of the changes we've had in the pipeline live. Let me know what you think.
We have heaps of ideas for things to add and improve, so feedback is more than welcome. As harsh as you want, it all helps

It's still a copy of layout - but this iteration (imo) is much less copied and much more suited to your content. As the guy who started Rakaka.se and runs eSports @ Dreamhack has said in the past, sometimes you need to copy to learn what does and doesn't work
