Now I dont want you to give up all your fav spots (in fear of blizzard nerfing them), just methods of farming to gain max use out of my time. To date I have been using the following methods:
Choosing a location worth farming (ie gold or elite packs), and either via a close checkpoint or waypoint clearing the area, leaving the game, restarting.... repeat over and over.
Choosing a decent quest, stacking NV and doing solo runs... repeat over and over.
Is any one of these methods best atm or are there any other methods that I have been missing out on.
I know you can also get a few mates, all play a goblin area solo and the first to find the goblin (dont kill it) then calls the rest of the party into their game and hey presto...all get goblin loot! Repeat!
Best way to farm is to roll a dh and gear him u with 5 mil of gears. Start from the second heart quest and go all the way till you kill azmodan. Each run guarantees you about 12 rares assuming you swap mf gears. One run should take you 25 min. You can also do it with a wiz but you need abt 15 mil worth of gears.
Heres what I do! I got many methods, but this one is probably the most efficient. The other methods are just chest farms lol.
1. Act III - The second heart quest
2. Go to keep depths lvl 3 kill 2 elites
3. (opt) Check for resplendent outside areat gate, go into crydons outpost/forward barracks if there, get resplendent and elite
4. TP to tower of cursed lvl 1, clear all the way to the lusty spider person. If you have 5stacks proceed to kill her, if not go somewhere else (you really should have 5 stacks, but Keep lvl 1-2 is another place to get stacks.
5. continue to Azmodan
6. Enjoy loots
You should get 3/4 rares of azmodan and spider person each, and if you are quick wiht MF swap the elites should drop 1-2 each, giving resplendents and the amount of elites you kill (usually 7ish) you'll have about 15-20 rares to identify if not more.
Hope this helps!
I got this run on farm in 30 minutes.
P.S - Superior to siege breaker cause its less mob clearing, more elites, and 2 bosses as opposed to 1.

Don't like this run as you can run into soul lasher packs.
I've been running 5 stacks -> Azmodan for a while, get some high quality rares on that run.
@nemo There is a goblin in the weeping hollow area on act 1, that appears a lot, spawns on the center left region, close to haedrigs assistant, but it's still quite random, even if you dont get the goblin...the gold there is pretty good, and it's a nice place to build up nv stacks before diving into the dungeon before the butcher, where the item level is higher.
Act 1 inferno is all about resistance and armour, I had a massively tough time in act 1 killing elites and champs(playing demon hunter), whats more I could not kamikaze into them, because the damn things heal up so fast!
But once I got my armour up to 2800 and resis to round about 200, found it easy to beat them, the only ones that are a bit tough are the extra fast shielding ones, but thats because I have to kite a bit..and they are done too. No more kamikazee!
You might have to sacrifice some dps and go slightly defensive, check out resist all gear, and some gear with armour.
Edit: Guys is there a point in farming act 1 ending levels for getting gear that can sort of withstand act 2? Cause lacuni's hit harder than the butcher lol.

1) Bridge of Korsikk, go backwards (might find a champ or elite on the way) to where you can find Cryder's or Chest. If you find Cryder's Outpost, there might be a chest in there, and 1 guranteed elite.
2) Keep depths 1 - Search for more elites. Go to level 2 or 3 if needed.
3) 5 stacks kill Siegebreaker, continue quest all the way till Azmodan.
I do that from time to time when i'm bored of doing "quick" runs. gets monotonous after a while
Siege breaker runs are amazingly easily for the level of loot you get. If you are struggling in act 2 and above you can do warden / butcher runs in act 1 to get abit of gear / gold. If you start the cursehold quest , you can waypoint back to the forsaken graveyard and do the 3 crypts for 3 easily stacks then venture down to kill the warden / butcher which will both drop 2-3 yellows and 5 + blues with 5 stacks of NV buff. No point doing purely a butcher run because warden drops the same loot and you go past his area to get to the butcher.
^^ Yeah the warden is really really good, and very easy cause he's so squishy. He dies in like 10 seconds lol, and drops some decent stuff. Along with the stuff I got from them, bought some things from the ah to get my res up to 300-350 and armour up to 3.3k, now can comfortably farm the areas of act 2 (inside areas are not as good..especially with certain types). Just made it to the oasis, this should be a nice spot to farm.
