SteelSeries Sensei or Razer DeathAdder?

Hey all! I couldn't find another thread regarding this on here, but I just thought I would ask people's opinion on which mouse I should choose!
My old Logitech mouse is heading into its dying days, so I thought it would be best to either go for a Sensei or a DeathAdder.
Opinions?
[Apologies if this is in the wrong section!]

I have used both, and I recommend a tt esports theron personally. Its all a matter of opinion and any of these three are great choices. Best bet is to try them out before you use them.

I got a theron as well but I personally think you should go for one that fits your grip style. It's not a matter of going which one is better it's a matter of going which one suits your grip style more and if your comfortable with it you should go for it. I bought the theron for looks and took me 2-3 weeks to adjust a new style of grip it was worth it in the end.

I think deathadder is a good choice sensei doesn't seem worth it imo unless you get the raw edition but you should also take a look at ttesport saphira

I think it comes down to personal requirements, some like smaller mouses and some don't mind bigger ones. I prefer Theron or Sensei.

I used to have the razer lachesis V1 and I had it for 4 years. absolutely loved it and it was with me through MANY lan events and took a beating. after 4 years of use though it began to degrade and die. so being that razer released the V2, it seemed only natural to buy the version 2. This was a mistake. the V2 mouse was terrible. the response from it seemed slow and laggy and there was just an overall latency issue (I tried it on 3 different pc's and played around with drivers all night but to no avail).

So, being thoroughly disappointed with the lachesis V2 (which is a shame as I love razer), I purchased the steelseries sensei and I have to say, its by far the best mouse I have used to this day. Its looks nice, It feels nice, It handles excellently and the DPI settings are really in depth. And of course the gimmicky, yet cool ability to upload a custom image file to the buttom of it (mine totally says Fridge in sc2 font )

Anyways, I really enjoy the sensei and I think its a good pick. that being said, the death adder gets nothing but praise from the fine people of the internet and it is still going strong after many years of operation.

its all personal preference. see if you can get your hands on both these mice and test them

Cheers,
Fridge.

Best thing to do is try out the two mice - I wish I could say I'd have a Death Adder for you to try out (if you were coming to ACL Sydney) - but they haven't arrived yet.. T_T

but test them out - I've heard rave reviews about both mice, so it all comes down to the feel - pretty sure either mouse will function amazingly, so it just depends on which fits your hand best.
A good price Death Adder
More expensive Sensei

Good luck!

Cheers for the advice everyone! Unfortunately I can only test out the DeathAdder since I don't know anyone that has a Sensei that I could use or borrow.
Does anyone know if they fixed the laser issues that some people were experiencing with the Sensei?
edit; Mainly looking into either of these mouses primarily because I know where to find them cheap in Melbourne.

Sensei. Quite pricey tho... There are some other options than just these two also.

I did a review on the Tt eSports Theron not too long ago on my site > http://siliconsports.net/2012/03/the...-mouse-review/

Personally the Deathadder felt flimsy to me > not a great build. The Theron is pretty solid and cheap for the features it has.

Ive had my Sensei for about 4 months or so now. It's been myfirst 'gaming' mouse and a serious upgrade from my standard mac mouse. Things that I really like about it are the onboard custom profiles, to change different settings around. It's very comfortable, and I think its improved my play significantly, just because I can be more accurate.

My only complaint is that sometimes it handles very weirdly, and Im not sure how to describe it, and it could also be a result of a dirty mouse pad.

I've not tried any other razer mouses but Im sure their good mice aswell. I think you should try and get your hands on both and test them out, and go from there, but I would strongly reccommend the sensei either way.

There are ways to turn off mouse accel on macs , im fairly sure that it was more of a dirty mouse pad issue as I washed it a few days ago and its fine now.
