Hi Gurus and fellow Experts,

How do you decide what to do as Zerg in 4v4? rush with roach, cheese with lings, go heavy with blings, or expand fast tech to muta/corruptor ?
Any links to videos or streams or guides will be greatly appreciated.

Hello there, first of let me introduce myself, I am the undisputed king of 4v4.

The best team set up in 4v4 is T Z Z X

terran goes mass helions, like 2-3 factories

1 zerg goes 10 pool speedling

other zerg goes 10 pool speedless banelings

the two zergs go together and can kill one guy before the terrans hellions come.

X isnt really needed, he can go for battle cruisers, carriers or mass corruptors if he wants to.

Anyways, 4v4 is about cheesing and winning as fast as you can.

If you want to play a macro game in 4v4, just play standard/how you usually do. You can't really respond to unit compositions in 4v4 because the opponent's army will usually consist of units from all 3 races. And according to Artosis: "THERE IS NO COUNTER TO EVERY UNIT!" So, all's that is left for you and your teammates to do is to simply outmacro and out-harass (deny expansions, harass worker lines, etc.) your opponent.

I find that having a good zerg player on my team helps lots because they are great at harassing (those slings and mutas are pretty annoying), denying expos for the opponents (helping to buy time for the team to be ahead) etc. I usually hate to see like 3-4 zerg players on the opponent's team and sometimes none on my mine.

10 pool. 10 pool is best pool.

After that you're usually free to expand once or twice (i get gas and expand once, and drone immediately after the first 6 lings) because the other team is too busy cleaning the poop from their pants to do snything useful, and as long as you have enough lings to deny a few expos it'll remain that way.

Then, since 4v4 maps are always pretty big, go muta, and later on you can get broodlords, bitches love broodlords.

4v4 if you are zerg and there's no/not many other zerg's you should rush to a good number of queens and then spread creep EVERYWHERE!, your allies will appreciate the effort you put into spreading creep (and therefore vision).

my advice, talk to the best zerg teams player (Spartaz) and learn his infamous 12drone rush, works a treat, then transition into 4 infestor hit squads (what i do)
