Thanks to positive word of mouth from current subscribers, TGM continues to expand so its only natural we add more quality coaches to continue providing a high quality level of service to our new members in terms of replay analysis, strategy discussion, replay packs and options in choosing their coach. Today we are proud to introduce SQLTt.HuT & Eldrid to our TGM coaching lineup!
Although they may not be as accomplished as the other coaches in terms of tournament finishes yet, they are both underrated high level players like YaMaMa who was basically unknown when appointed as a TGM coach and went on to finish #2 with a 70% win rate on the Season 5 ladder. Both these guys have been getting lots of positive feedback in the member replay analysis thread and you should be able to see some good results from both of them soon, it should only be a matter of time now!
Their names and coaching rates have been added and can be found on SC2SEA's official coaching roster. Lastly, TGM will also be undergoing a big update over the next week to reflect the most current GSL builds with several new BOs and replays being added for each section.
Download the HuT + Eldrid replaypack over here where they take on players like iNkA, mOOnGLaDe, MaFia, VileState, JaBito, Light, etc
HuT has been a part of the SC2SEA community from the very start. In fact, his member ID is 17, meaning he was the 17th person to register on this site!! In the early days he helped come up with our first ever weekly and match reviews. Back then he was also the first one to come up with the idea of having our own tees - I told him it was too early still. And look what happened a year later, he became our Mr. May Tee Shirt poster boy haha! He later moved into casting, and then streaming emerging steadily as a very strong player. His talent was soon recognized and he was picked up by the pro team Sequential Gaming and later on by the social clan aLt. He most recently took mOOnGLaDe out in the SGL lan, being partly responsible for his elimination. When he is not spending time with his girlfriend, HuT enjoys streaming his games, attending community events like Barcrafts, helping members out in the replay review thread and in general being a nice and contributive member of our community!

Before any coaching is taken place, I will ask for a set of replays and your general gameplan for each matchup. From here, we chat about what happened in your replay and show you why it was good / bad. From there we discuss problems you face in each matchup, and work out ways to solve them whether they be build, mechanic or decision making related. In the end, I wish to leave you with a solid understanding of each specific matchup and feeling confident in both your macromanagement and decision making.
Like fellow TGM subscriber turned coach YaMaMa, Eldrid started off more than 6 months ago as a TGM subscriber coached by the legendary mOOnGLaDe. Eldrid began to get get very good at the game himself and in a short time managed to hit GM. To pickup some valuable coaching experience, he first offered anyone in the community his coaching for free, and received alot of positive feedback for his coaching. Eldrid continues to be very helpful in the forums and in the replay review threads and an active figure in the tournament scene and we hope to hear more from this up and coming player, who just took down iaguz in the City Hunter LAN 2-1 this morning!
10th-12th at most city hunter LAN tournaments in sydney (always knocked out by top 5 SEA player)
12th - SGL 6 (Stacked sydney tournament)

both really up-and-coming amazing players! Very busy with regular life so very sociable and good at communicating unlike some of us full-time guys get at times >.<.
As for Eldrid timing-attack and cheesing his way to 5th at Cityhunter today, he beat players like myself and Iaguz despite the fact we train probably 5x as much as him. He knew his mechanics wouldn't hold up in later game so he did unique and well-thought out timings that relied on false information. It was actually quite masterful. It almost felt like I was on Korean ladder.
Bad luck to Hut today, no shame being eliminated by the ever-powerful Iaguz! Still stunned by his macro play at SGL where he dominated glade on Daybreak!

Not really. Almost every game against Eldrid he tries to cheese me. These two times it managed to pay off for him. That's not masterful, it's just statistically probable.

You just sound sour because he beat you. He doesn't BM you when you beat him..

Your better than me, and this had a (much) better chance of me winning vs you than playing a macro game. That's all it comes down to!
But I agree it would suck to lose to this at a tournament...
I felt bad after the games, but TBH you gotta do what you gotta do to give yourself the best chance of winning @ tournies...

I didn't watch your games too closely i just caught the tail end of a few so I didn't see the lead up. However against me he would often throw multiple spines and act very defensive just to make me assume he was macroing and I got lazy with checking my scouting. Not sure if the same happened with you. I do know he was hitting with a roachbane timing significantly earlier then you're used to it hitting. So his sub-optimal cheeses were perhaps just built to get in before your build was ready. Not sure.

Games 1 and 2 were pure ling bane allins. G1 iaguz lost like 2-3 hellions due to a surround before the attack began, G2 he kept the hellions but eldrid didn't make safety babes at home to repel iaguz's counter.
All these comments remind me of poker. People always say "why did you call with that" when you flop trips of something crazy. Remember in this game you can do anything you like, if your opponent is not prepared for it, then it is their faut they lost the game.
No scouting = no hope.
