Hi guys,

I have recently just formatted my pc and reinstalled win7 pro, i then reinstalled SC2, now the problem i am having now is that when i build certain things and so on, i dont see the build time.

for eg. if i build a probe should there be like a timer to tell you how much time you have left in order to build that probe? and look something like this ---> training 23/40
even when i build buildings and stuff still no timer on the game hub.

i have searched all around into the game settings and everything cant seem to find it, i would think that there wouldnt be away where you could edit something like this surely.

i tried calling help support but they are closed until 2am to 3pm.

please help me if you know about this setting and where to change it.

once i get the answer ill be reposting it in here for all. i dunno why its doing it seems a little weird to me.

if anyone can help thanks in advance.

Have you reinstalled SC2? Have you run the Repair tool?
Restarted the client?

Is the drive that you formatted & re-installed windows on, the same drive that SC2 is installed to?

I don't remember having this timer (except on a replay production tab).

I'll double check when I get home in an hour but... Maybe it was an addon you installed?

I think he's referring to the timer you get when you mouse-over the unit selection area.

I tohught this at first, but he quite cearly says it tells him when he is at X seconds of total build time elapsed, which makes me think it sits somewhere around the progress bar.

The mouse over one in the button area just shows the total

like... the timer when you hover your mouse over something in production? or is this a different timer?

If it's the tooltip you get when you hover over the progress bar, that setting is Gameplay -> User Interface section -> Display Game Tooltips
