Ive am struggling with my Protoss. I have attached a Replay of a game I won, but I still feel i did horrible. I felt I never had enough minerals and the tanks were really hurting me I felt i couldnt get aggressive. Any Tips would be great

At the start

nice build but a walloff vs Terran was a bit weird and unneeded. Was he random?

. Your probie scouts gas b4 barracks. Usually this means fast reapers or some weird kind of engineering bay upgrade rush. If reapers you need to chrono out that first stalker.

Chronoboosts. Dun forget them chrono boosts especially on your nexus especially early game.

. 1 probe was mining gas for a little while. Try put 3 probes on the gas as soon as it finishes

. a good probe scout sees the techlab

. You need to continiously produce probes

MIDGAME

.Pressure I like it. Your scouting is a bit low though because you forgot an observer.

. Continuious probe production is really needed at this point. Also I strongly advise you to get collusus before getting 5 gateways. Collusus just own that MM ball sooooo hard

. Running into tanks on high ground is not a good option without vision of the high ground. Instead harrass and / or build something that can see up there

waiting 30/40 seconds b4 finally lauching an attack on the terrans base. Try also use a plan. for example run in stalker to kill that unguarded command centre and have zealots and colls at the bottom of the ramp waiting for those scv's to come down and get killed . The way you did it was fine it was just you didn't catch that orbital in the end.

. Proxy forge? 0_o

LATEGAME

. You only have 1 gas in your naturual expansion (expo closest to ur main base)

. you are still not producing enough probes.

.You are not chronoboosting

. You ARE upgrading good work. Upgrades are essential to the lategame.

. late as range upgrade for collusus? I personally use it earlier. It is very useful

summing it up.

what i didn't like

. Not enough probes waaaay not enough probes you need to continuiously build the little buggers.

. very late collusus and collusus upgrade.

.no scouting whatsoever not even a simple observer.

. Weird things like proxy forge and walloff vs terran

. RUnning into sieged tanks

. not using chrono/boost

.no harrassment (this can be achieved with a warp prisim and 4 zealots)

What i did like

. Making immortals to counter the mech.

. You upgrading

. You making a strong army composition

.Good manners.

Nice early game build.

conclusion

Overall you played very well for a bronze but need to work on your patience, scouting and building probes. Your opening build is good but you need to get it sharper. Collusus are very effective and should be gotten earlier.

^^ This is all my opinion. I'm only a diamond and P is offrace but My offraces are pretty good and I think this is all truthful.

Thankyou Lolwut I have re watched my replay a few times and noticed all you things. On 3 base how many probes would you recommend. And also with the enemy I felt like he had so many tanks do you think getting a phoenix or 2 would of helped, by lifting them?

I would say 24 probes per base is a good amount. That = 3 per mineral field and 3 per gas . As for the tank thing phoenix's can be good if you have the confidence to both macro and harrass with them.

For a bronze player, no. Phoenixes CAN work but they are very fragile and require good micro, which means good multitasking to use effectively.
