Desperately need help with my TvZ (Replay included)
I'm a Silver leaguer on SEA servers (plat on NA) and need help with my TvZ. I'm pretty alright with TvT and TvP, but I cannot figure out how to beat zerg at all. Granted, my Macro is far from ideal, but just like in the game that I attached, I just get slaughtered by mutas/lings/banes. I just can't deal with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hey man simple observations if you want to improve overall and especially this matchup:
Stop building so many helions. You waste too much time microing them and not building scvs.
Reactor helion expand doesn't need to kill any drones you just need to force some defense out of your opponent and deny creep-spread (stop at 4-6 helions)
not enough production - more barracks!
A nifty push is where you go fast 2-fact and delay medivacs for AGES and just try to kill them with a 2-base 10 tanks 50-70 marine push. You control this right and macro to it perfectly you will improve and win games
You need to scout with helions/marines/scan in the midgame alot more. at 16:00 you are 40 supply ahead and yet you aren't securing additional expansions nor attacking to win the game. Hence you aren't using your advantage
whenever you want to attack, you are entering a MICRO situation. You will be too busy to macro. So before you enter a MICRO situation, do all your macro tasks: depots, que up units, mules, scvs, add production, rally points!
Your attack on his natural moves up with ZERO scoutiong ahead and could be ambushed. You need to leapfrog your tanks more steadily to be safe
At his natural you should have NO way to lose this game. You simply aren't controlling your army correctly. You need to systematically move your tanks forward ALOT faster then you do and also pre-spread your marines! RESIST the urge to use your hotkey to control them as it makes them clump up for banelings and allow mutas to get exposed tanks
Don't stim until the mutas commit, he wastes all your life by you pre-stimming
you lose 50 marines to banelings cos of this miscontrol! This lost you the game!

Yeah I could tell in that final battle I should have spread my marines out, though it takes more effort than I thought would be necessary to win a Silver league game, haha.
Thanks a lot for the other points though, and thanks for taking the time to look through my replay Really helped.

Thing with that mate is develop those good habits early. It'll help later in your games as it's natural for you to spread out your marines and you don't find it much, if any effort at all. Really helps as you move up in leagues where you will die a painful painful death if you clump your marines (unless you do what I do and clump my marines just so I can show off my awesome MKP-esque marine splits to my friends).
