Ok, I had an old thread but I didn't like it, seeing as its main purpose was to ask for help. On this new thread I will make a new post Whenever I add to my coverage of the SEA scene.
Here's some reps from korean ladder. The DaisyPrime game is probably the best cast. I think the genius game was good though he was offracing. The FXOlucky game was quite action-packed aswell if i remember correctly.
Neither of these 2 guys are pro-players. KJH plays alot and streams alot but is more entertainment focused (and trolling! :P) whilst Evets is new to the top 20 of GM he is in his final months of high school and so whilst he has huge potential won't be able to show it fully until the end of this year IMO.
You might be able to tell evets is a friend of mine who I did some coaching with some months back and I like to lay claim to him as my 'star student'. Though the truth is my 1-2 lessons were just a prod in the back of what was already a spectacular player.
The SEA sc2 (and RTS) scene in SEA doesn't have alot of sponsorship but it's beginning to grow so we have very few sponsored players and many of those still have fulltime jobs/study as its not enuf to live off.
That being said we have players that are beginning to perform at an international level despite these handicaps! And ofc Moonglade has been dominating since the beta!
Yeah, I was told they weren't pros but I watched KJH's grandmaster stream and asked him for replays as I found no partcularly good source for SEA replays. If you have any please send them in.
I have also casted a series involving mOOnGLaDe vs Ret from BLizzcon a week or so ago for anyone interested.
Very good efforts Kommissar, love your work. I was roaming through day9 videos and your comments regarding SEA coverage have been thumbed up generously (top of the list). I think you need some sort of merit eventually for your initiative, it's definately appreciated.
